All I can write about BB and the Passport SE in particular (that I still own with pleasure) is that once I had a problem and I wrote to BB customer service they call me back in Italy and help to solve the issue. The second time I had an issue with the touch screen, they gave me one new! And both times it took 5 days! With Sony it's about a month I'm waiting to my Xperia to come back and Samsung wasn't any better. BB is still worth people attention, there are tons of usefull app, except -unfortunalely-Whatsapp and Vibe: I hope they will make them work anyhow

You can still use Whatsapp and Viber on BB 10 by sideloading the apk file on the phone the only downside you cannot take a photograph like you do on other phones while using whatsapp the pic has to be clicked and then you can send those pics. Except that longer process there's not downside to the phone.
I think its a Chinese copy with android like those dual Simcard iPhones.
Just my 2 cents.
I would like to get a BB, with SD820, 5.5" 4k, 4 to 6GB of RAM, 3G and LTE bands for both US&EU, 2 SIM, and physically keyboard but build like Nokia E7 side slider.
What a waste of a great device! Running it with a Swiss CheeseDroid OS!
best would be if a decent developer could grab it and then the whole bb community could profit from say a retrofit of the os

Well, still better than BB OS 10 due to lack of support for WhatsApp and Viber. Pitty that such great platform is not alive aside from eg. Windows 10 mobile. Since they have done great job on Android, I hope that there will be more devices.
Good luck with anybody who really needs anything to do with blackberry products? Its not worth the pain suffering and isolation
i know there are people who will spend a lot to have an exclusive phone...because no one have it!!
i am not one of that persons because the device looks ugly but...for someone who likes Blackberry is good, will have a phone that nobody have - and dont be shy to show them!
because having a aiple or a sammy phone is nothing special those days...
