Verizon CFO defines needs.
Operationblitz , 23 Sep 2016This just smacks of CEO's and senior managers not listening to there customers. Im in the U... moreIf you talk about Three UK then it's throttled speed and not so good anyway.
I think 100 gb high speed plan should be the minimum. It can go well upto 1000 gb.
If there are generous caps on high speed data, people wont feel the pinch or even bother about not having unlimited plans. Btw, us wireless rates seem extremely high. They should give 100 gb per month in around 30 usd.
In Finland you get unlimited text, calls and data for 25-40e a month depending on which data speed you pick. (20mb/s - 300mb/s)
8 dollars per gigabyte plan seems like a massive rip off. Pretty sure this is why monopolies should not be allowed to exist.
Wait... 160$ per month for that plan?
So that's how that ""American"" freedom look like...
Worst cellphone company EVARRRRRR!
I was with AT&T and that was a PAIN! I am with T-Mobile since and i'm very happy!
Verizon is trying to avoid the inevitable! they will roll out unlimited everything when their customers started to flee to other carriers!
Anonymous, 23 Sep 2016Stupidity... In estonia we have 35gb 50mbit plan for 23euro and unlimited 150mbit for 35euro ... moreUSA is far behind Europe...! 😀
Unlimited is the whole point with "broadband" so the user can stream as much video/TV as the user want! Nobody needs broadband to watch Facebook or read news, so 4G is totally pointless if it can not be used to stream unlimited amount of video that actually needs broadband/4G!
I have real unlimited 3G, 30 Mbit/s, and I use more than 1000 Gb each month!
Stupidity...
In estonia we have 35gb 50mbit plan for 23euro and unlimited 150mbit for 35euro for mobile
Just another Reason why the big Red will continue to loose customers!!
Kinda like... Not adjusting to the competition. Haha
Misleading terms like limitless should carry punishment even in ads
AnonD-558092, 23 Sep 201620GB of limitless data? What does that even means?20GB of "Limitless" data that not being throttled, which also mean that the fastest you use that the fastest it's gone. And that's shared between 4(or 5 lines). So, anyone got 4G LTE(and the advanced as the new Verizon ads show) and use it on daily drive, your data probably won't last more than week( if not shorter).
160$ for 20GB? That's a crazy price for what you get. This month I could get 20GB for 2 euros or usually I can get 30GB for 15 euros and I still think that's expensive.
Verizon must have mistaken themselves for Apple if they think they can tell people what they want.
Then again, apparently they basically have a monopoly is some areas so people are forced to go with them.
What if i use 4G data as my main internet source instead of WiFi?
I can easily reach 300 gb a month with watching YouTube and stuff like that.
Step your game up Verizon.
You can get 200 GBs of 4g internet here in Pakistan for just $60 and 24 GBs for $15. With offers you can have 50% more for free. I am okay with this here xD
20GB of limitless data? What does that even means?
Lol, Verizon sure is funny.
