Those links were almost certainly not official offerings from ASUS or any authorized dealer. The weird prices ($530.48!) are a giveaway; when ASUS offers the Zenfone 3 it's almost certainly going to be priced more normally.

So the wait continues. We still don't know which versions of the Zenfone 3 that ASUS will choose to offer here, nor the prices they will carry. I'm also expecting to see a price more like $399 than $499 for the Deluxe; I don't think you can sell a $500 phone with a mere 1080p display any more even if the rest of the specs are flagship level.

fony, 24 Sep 20165.7" and 3000 mAh battery? Gtfoh Asux! Not every company can squeeze 3500mAh battery inside the size of 3000mAh making them overheat and explode ...but phone could have been 1mm thicker , IMO 1mm extra wouldn't hurt design nor handling and use at all.

Plop, 24 Sep 2016On screen buttons can cause screen burn though I know that , look at first comment on this page from me :

'' I only don't understand why they had to use super AMOLED and therefore need for cheap capacitive keys instead of onscreen buttons . LCD would also would do better in sharpness on 5.7'' while 1080p super AMOLED on 5.7'' will probably look quite crappy :( ''

Asus are good for comput... moreI didn't say that is well made..if quality control for this phone is bad we will know when it comes out , but knowing ASUS that shouldn't be the case for their flagship at least .

looking at the hardware you can't find phone even from crappy chinese manufacturers for this price : IMX318 , SD821 , 256GB , 6G RAM , great materials metal plus GG4 that's all top of the line and they couldn't possibly use anything better than that .

LOL go buy an iPhone crap then , that's certainly worth the money apple is asking for it...

only downsides of this phone are cheap AMOLED screen and multi-touch up to 5 fingers which should be up to 10 ...but is there a phone is without some flaws ?

On screen buttons is simply waste display area with no added benefit, I always prefer capacitive buttons.

on-screen buttons give the phone cleaner look , can rotate in landscape and change shape , you can have them on the opposite side of the screen . and those can disappear when you don't need them ...

...so the on-screen buttons are superior in every way hands down !

Zenfone Laser at $206, still reasonable but with Honor 5X and many good phones are available for $200, it will be very tough for Asus to sell these devices.
