Punisher, 24 Sep 2016That guy from youtube already explained why note 7 battery have issues. Its a design flaw. In... moreThat's not what happened. That's why atl were able to do it. The problem is Samsung SDI was used to making removable batteries and didn't have the rcources and competitiveness in making non removable ones so quickly, because Samsung SDI only started making them recently.
After reading this article I would not use.... IndiGo airlines ...!! :D :P
Punisher, 24 Sep 2016Im not sure how some of commenterators reason with logic etc. 4 year old phone is accepted to ... moreLol. You're so thick. Its because there hasn't been a case in 4 years, and the only case is after a public recall of the note 7 that this is fishy. It means media attention to the point you even knew of this, and it means people are likely to do something dodgy, and it means there was most likely another cause. Nobody is saying the battery blew up because its old.
I am also using note 3.... It is also getting heat when i play high end games.... Now i m getting fear to use.... please here after try to develop fire proof like water proof....Lol....☺
AnonD-588820, 24 Sep 2016Samsung should add a auto extinguish fire feature on the note 8Nice idea you got there...
Also the idea of having no replaceable battery in a phone is a good thing and SAFE so that NO knock-off batteries can be used.
AnonD-588820, 24 Sep 2016Samsung should add a auto extinguish fire feature on the note 8i agree
Phinch88, 24 Sep 2016Thats a bad comparison, Samsung batterys are only designed to have so many charges (about 600)... moreThat guy from youtube already explained why note 7 battery have issues. Its a design flaw.
Instead of creating and evolving new battery tech what samsung did was they packaged more battery in same space. Thats equal to more pressure right from start. That has nothing to do with evolving existing battery tech or innovating new. They squeezed more battery in same space.
Jesus christ, 24 Sep 2016I sense someone is trying very hard to get compensation from Samsung. Anyway, if anyone want t... moreIm not sure that phone in airplane was some kind of scam. Nobody is that stupid. For that u go to prison for a very long time. Its almost compared as he had a bomb. No difference no matter what he thinks or dont think.
Punisher, 24 Sep 2016Im not sure how some of commenterators reason with logic etc. 4 year old phone is accepted to ... moreThats a bad comparison, Samsung batterys are only designed to have so many charges (about 600) then after that the battery is very poor, then after a while the battry will start swelling, slowly (over weeks/months) The battery does not just swell and expload randomly...well maybe the NOTE 7
I sense someone is trying very hard to get compensation from Samsung. Anyway, if anyone want to try it, simply poke it and wait to claim your money very soon.
Im not sure how some of commenterators reason with logic etc. 4 year old phone is accepted to catch fire because its "old"
In what universe are u living in?
So compared to car.
Washington news front page!!!
"Family with their 2 children burned alive in dodge car, car caught fire"
"Car must have been """old"""
Next day updated news
""Blog investigators"" came to conclusion it was a 20 years "old" car.
Are u f nuts bunch of u???
Please stop commenting nonsense and go watch something. "Hollywood housewifes" "perez blog" or what ever. Just dont post your stupidity.
Even if those were cheap batteries all oems must integrate failsafe no matter what. As i said im just waiting for a planecrash.
How come u never heard about laptop battery explotions since beginning of laptops. Never!!! Except maybe lg or some other low laptop manufacture disaster. Even Tesla had issues with battery catching fire and they corrected the problem adding titanium plate to prevent puncture.
AnonD-102946, 24 Sep 2016im 120% sure he used some 5$ unworthy unoriginal battery on that 3+ yrs flagshipand how did you know that?? Mr knowall
AnonD-442781, 24 Sep 2016Its not a coincidence that this 4 year old phone has only had this happen after the note 7 rec... moreso 4 year old or more, samsung mobiles can catch fire. please understand, the battery catches fire on mobiles are not a basic mobile. that is flagship high end mobiles. UL or CSA certified batteries only explode in samsung mobiles.
It's just a bit weird that all these old Samsung mobiles started catching fire now with the note 7 dilemma, I mean why haven't they catch fire back in June and July why in the same month and the following one to the note 7 incident it's just kinda weird to me
Anonymous, 24 Sep 2016Wait, what? So how long do you expect your electronic device to be safe? 2years? Apparently... moreThe Note2 device is save. Very save even after 4 yeas..
The person I sold my first Note1 is still happy with it. And still keep it.
But the cheap battery replacement is not.
And ppl can buy cheaper battery replacemet even for sealed phones (like iphones)
No Fan Boy...!, 24 Sep 2016Guys...i have Note2 which i bought in November 2012 and i still use it , hand down its one of ... moreYou can buy Mugen battery for your Note2. They are better even than tha original.
Agree Note2 is still great phone, as all other Notes are too.
One accident can not change the image of Note.
Note 7 is still the best and most beautiful phone on the Planet, and the battery issue will be solved.
"ItÂ’s also possible the phone had a cheap, knock-off battery, which could have been the cause of the fire as well."
Even my old Nokia N8 and Apple iPhone 4 that came out even older than Note 2 back then in 2010 well that make em at least 6 years old (3 years older than this Note) are still running alive and fine.
Wake up people don't be blinded by the so-called high spec with lots of feature and whatever. If you want quality android phone go for Sony or Motorola instead or even Asus that is on the rise. Never had any issue with their phone being a timed bomb.
