actually sounds cool, specially being effective through glass or metal (i bet we'll need to see it though) if it's well advertised and welcome among the users it can be a strong sell point for Xiaomi (we know they need one) hopefully that'll make them go world wide so i can be able to buy one (or at least test them) ^_^
So let's say what we're all thinking here... Can you put it behind a display so it still works?
[deleted post]As much as this is a serious time for Samsung although i am suspicious about certain things around these explosions and fires. Samsung is more innovative than these other companies.Samsung has pushed innovation in many ways. I do not own any Samsung phone and this comment is based on what has been observed for the past 10 years.

How about no capacitive buttons at all and only on screen button and front facing speakers instead, the future lol ...... waiting for tomorrow with all hopes better not be crushed by circle home button plz.
LeEco Le Max 2 uses this tech, but it's very shitty, I don't know if it was poorly implemented by LeEco or it's really bad!
With the right build quality I'll definitely consider this for upgradation
