Eh...well that's mildly dissapointing. The lack of multi-touch and the way out dated 1.6 Andriod OS platform was what really kept me away from this device. I don't see how the guys at XDA Devlopers set it up and here SE, a international company with tons or resouces is just now getting to it. You build such an amazing looking device, with so much potential but then go and just do a pathetic job on it. The X10 had some serious potential, but still even with it's latest update all they're doing is keeping it obselete. I have no idea what the logic is behind it. No one wants to pay for a flagship phone, with a flagship price tag and get some basic thing. The Camera and Processor are the only two things that phone has to offer people and the processor can be found in nearly everything now. I don't know, I used to really like the SE brand I had some old school phones from way back when and they were excellent. It's just now they're just jacking people around. I'll stick with HTC for all my Android needs, my Desire Z run circles around pretty much everything out there at the moment.

SE is on its way to FAILDOM!!! Good lord!! How can they keep treating their customers like crap? They claim it cant do multitouch but now they decide b'cos of consumer pressure?! Glad i dumped that brand long time ago.. what a load of bollocks.. they're only including that now b'cos not doing so would mean the xda guys are far better than their engineers.. Shame on you SE.. shame on you!! SE owners.. wake up!! SE doesn't care about u one bit!!

How do you have a modern 2010 flagship smartphone that didn't come out with multitouch? Claiming that the hardware is limited to not enable it, then saying that because of "demand" they're working on multitouch. What kind of demand exactly do you need for such a basic feature Sony? It should be part and parcel of flagship capacitive touchscreens.

Next, Sony really is slow at developing anything aren't they? A multitouch update for Q1? Since when did Sony ever make do with their update promises anyway? Expect this update to show up mid 2011. And for what? Just Google Maps and Web Browser? You can't even pinch pictures?

What kind of phone is this junk?

This is the oldest trick in the book for SE. there never was and will never be multitouch on X10 because it's not exists in the hardware level. don't let SE fool you. they lied to us by saying the X10 supports multitouch the we will buy more. and they gonna say - we have a new toy -look at our new X12 which has multitouch. then you people gonna throw your X10 and buy X12 instead. SE has made you a herd of sheeps, or a bunch of zombie slaves if you like.

Hmm... What about enabling 16M colours as well, SE? You shouldn't leave your customers hanging like that!
