Oh, and if your phone is so darned good, why does it need a bumper case at all?
Wish they could make this phone with android and put an overlaying UI that looks like the WebOs they have.

Might as well put that free bumper you got so you can hold it like a real phone.

guys ur all talking rubbish ive got a palm pre or shall i say we have three in the family . we have certain software problems with it , and calling the head office of palm is very difficult and time consuming. the device was pretty ggod but doing a day to day business its very hard to get around palm there updates for the software are very difficult. when we in the family have changed phones to nokia.. so dont say to me its a advanced phones or palm are good to us they are not a company. if uve had a palm ull understand. they forget about there existing palm handset holders and start consentrating on new customers . do u tink those existing will come back! thats what ive asked palm but 5 months on had no reply of them.surely they cant be that busy thinking about a palm pre 3! could they.....
Anonymous, 18 Nov 2010outdated phone for big money, nothing moreFor your info, Palm Pre 2 is more advanced in Business usage than any other businesss phone around. it is not outdated at all, it is superior than any iphone or android sadly it's luck is bad. Palm was stupid that they did not accept the deal from Nokia otherwise they would have ruled the mobile world once again. wEbOs rocks.... use palm first than comment on it.
Who would pay that much for such a subpar phone? WebOS isn't gonna go anywhere, just like Bada. Stop the fragmentation of smart phones!!
No itunes store for that

Hey, that's not true of Saab--they didn't go out of business; they lived on as GMs in disguise! Hopefully those Swedish aircraft engineers got nice Cadillacs...
outdated phone for big money, nothing more
I'm surprise people still not bored of it yet. Ever since the rebirth of Palm they never really changed anything, now the pre2 looks/works exactly the same as before.
And good luck finding an app if you own one.
Looks like a great phone.
The specs doesn't say anything about GSM radios. I only see CDMA.
To the person asking if the unlocked feature is a typo, use your eyes: http://h71016.www7.hp.com/ctoBases.asp?oi=E9CED&BEID=19701&SBLID=&ProductLineId=510&FamilyId=3360&LowBaseId=33702&LowPrice
Really love the idea that it has 1080p playback!!!! HP great deal!!!!
But where is the imac support and the new version of android on it?
Just checked Hp's USA website. However it does not mention GSM support only CDMA. How unlocked is that? could be a typo
Sigh, I had the Palm 600 and the 650 many years ago and loved them. They were ahead of their time and promised so much, with hot swappable memory cards, threaded SMS and so much more, but then Blackberry woke up to the joys of aesthetics and squashed them flat in a nano-second. Palms were like Saab cars, slightly different, slightly quirky - you either loved them or hated them. Saab went out of business too.
I'm glad that HP bought Palm and would love to see the company do well, but it ain't gonna happen with ideas like this.
