Talentedsks, 03 Oct 2016This device priced correctly. These are not Chineese phones which will come at $300-$400.
So, can you tell us the difference between Alcatel Idol 4 and this "non-chinese" BB, beside $135 (USD)?

This is the best phone you can get at $500-$600 is great.
good phone. I don't know why people care about price when they can pay more than 700$ for samsung and apple. The specs are good. And yeah the software is perfect. Samsung has trashy software. And still charge bunches. And BB deserves more for the high price as compared to samsung. Because BB was the boss back in the days before apple for premium handsets
Qxdir, 03 Oct 2016Good phone but overpriced Really, you know the price already?
SamsungFan, 03 Oct 2016This will be fastest Android Phone EVER !With SD 820? No, there is already SD 821 out
I don't think that you can call the DTEK50 it's predecessor. It was a mid range device and it was launched just a few months back. I think the DTEK50 is the mid range one, DTEK60 high end and a blackberry priv successor with SD 821 and keyboard will be the flagship
Blackberry, this time plz price is right. and you will gain some market.
I always trust BB for build quality.
this will be a competition to Shamesung, crApple, OnePlus and others, BUT the price is always the deal with BlackBerry :3
Does this phone has a fingerprint unlock ????? Dtek 30 didnt had it
the main problem of blackberry is pricing.they over price their products which is the main source of their decline.blackberry prive could have been a success but the price was a major set back.if blackberry really wanna trend again.they should strike a deal with mediatek and use their powerful chipset.
Alcatel/tcl phone no doubt. Same as the idol 4 pro. I just happen to like their phones so it's all goo
Did I miss it in the spec sheet, or does it not include the fingerprint scanner?
with my employer's policy on long passwords and immediate lock, I find myself entering my password a million times a day, and many times on emergencies (not the 911 ones). So, as much as I love blackberry simplistic and functional form factors, and the security and the HUB, I will never go with a phone without a fingerprint scanner for easy and quick unlocking.
And I believe I speak for many corporate users on this front.
I sure wish the will activate the FM radio too for then it would certainly become my new daily driver after my current Passport until a new PKB BB will be available.
No Finger print scanner!!!
• Seriously Blackberry,in this time and Age you are still Lagging behind : No wonder you are struggling, always LATE..
to be honest i kinda like the simplistic design. not too fancy with glossy look or bright side lining.
i hope it will deliver :)
It's a good phone on paper, but Blackberry has to understand, that better phones are out there for some time now. If they price it the same as Priv, it will be another flop, one that BB can't really afford at the moment.
