In Business Week there was article based on sales reports that 62% of the iPhone 4 buyers returned their phones within 2 weeks and got a Android phone instead.
Sails, 22 Nov 2010Seems to follow what I said. iPhone 3G has 1.38. You were bashing Nokia. My point was that... moreYou said the iPhone 4 is worse again. So I showed to you that iPhone 4 is as worse as the N8. 0.05 is negligible. BTW the iPhones have the best sound frequency spectrum, see their reviews on GSMArena. I use a SGS with SAR 0.39 and for extended usage I just ordered a 3000 mAh battery for it (standard battery is 1500). You cannot do the same for N8 since the battery is not replaceable. So do not throw the stone at iPhone 4 or others before you see how your Nokia compares with the phones you criticise.

thats the commitment by worlds largest manufacturer of cellphone that that want to connect each and every poor people on the earth so that each and every people have their own phone.that is why nokia use connecting people.go ahead nokia.apple must learn from nokia that huge profit is not the sole criteria for manufacturing cellphone.quality and faith determines the company to establish on global market.

You were bashing Nokia. My point was that iPhone isn't in any way better. In fact as you can see N8 has smaller value than 4G. Tell me then why N8 has amazing reception and 4G and especially 3G totally sucks? Because N8 "pumps more electromagnetic energy"? Doesn't seem like it.
I have to say I don't really believe in any real risks with any of FCC approved phones anyway. Might give it some hint of a value if I was talking 16 hours a day, but not with my current usage.
These tests don't give the real picture anyway, since the transmission power is dependent on the signal quality. If the quality is good, the phone adjusts the transmission power lower. The test only lists the highest measured result. This is actually one more reason to use a Nokia with a great antenna design since in real world cases it means it needs to use less power to keep a good signal.

Click on rankings above, 10 out of the top 12 in the by interest ranking are Nokias. Just accept that they are pretty asked around the world.
I have an iphone and a cheap Nokia 6700 classic S40 which I love both for what they do.
Fabricating and repeating it's own history the nokia.
nokia made me sick , 22 Nov 2010i think symbian is entry level and mid-level os and s40 platform is for 1xxx and 2xxx series. ... moreSamsung offers very few upgrades and only fixes few of the biggest problems on their phones. The hardware quality is also lot behind Nokia.
Have you read any S40 reviews lately? I haven't seen many reviews that place Bada ahead of S40. Of course the actual experience varies a lot from phone to phone, since its a feature OS.
Bulletproof Tony, 22 Nov 2010Most 20$ Nokia phones have a better speech quality than an iPhone. That is because the 20 bucks Nokia pumps more electromagnetic energy than the iPhone. That's good for the sound quality and not so good for your brain. Check it yourself, put a Nokia and an iPhone next to a speaker(radio, TV, PC), and use the mobile network. You'll notice some noises in the speaker when Nokia does some data transfer.
Anonymous, 22 Nov 2010very glad to see you again Nokia :) I don't want to see another android crap here so, I'... moreYou are no different than the worst Apple fanboy. I do not care what brand is a phone as long as it fulfils my requirements. Unfortunately, I believed in Nokia, so I spent 300 Euro for an X6 with "free navigation". Then I saw that I cannot find any address in offline mode, so if I go in online mode, when I'm abroad, well, there is no more free navigation any more. Also I had to buy and install the SPB shell (30 Euro), since the standard UI is completely retarded. For internet browsing I use Opera Mobile, since of course the standard browser is practically unusable. I also got a Samsung Galaxy S with a contract, and the phone is a dream compared with the X6. Too bad Samsung aftersales suck, but the phone is really great. Anyway if HTC, LG, etc, come with a 4 inch screen 480x800 screen resolution phone, secondary camera, and Android 2.2 or 2.3, I'm gonna buy it. I do not care if Samsung comes with Nexus S, I got fed up with their unbelievable bad after-sales services. Note that I did not mention iPhone. If I buy a phone, I want to be the OWNER of it not Steve Jobs. But also if I buy a phone, I want to have the best, and Nokia/Symbian, WP7, iPhone 4 do not fulfil my criteria for "the best of the best" in regard of smartphones.
i think symbian is entry level and mid-level os and s40 platform is for 1xxx and 2xxx series. i'll go for bada os devices of samsung cause these nokia craps costs as much as them but offers no quality espicially vga cam thing. today most phone has 1.3mp front camera. am i wrong ?
Where's the news "The death of Nokia N8 & C7 all over the world"
Most 20$ Nokia phones have a better speech quality than an iPhone.
I totally disagree with Anti-Nokia sentiments. Not everyone can afford a phone, let alone a smartphone. While these phones appear 'dumb' to some, they mean the world to others who are just in need of a phone for actual communication.
I love Apple devices, the iPhone has decent call quality given a strong network signal but fails miserably in weak spots. This is where the paradigm 'Nokia's cheapest devices beat Apple's greatest' becomes true.
If all the companies made expensive smartphones then there wouldn't be any option left for others who cannot afford them.
At all technological and price levels, Nokia stays true to its dictum of "Connecting People.”
VGA Camera? Is this 2004???? What is the point? They mite aswell not put a camera on at all
