X6, 23 Nov 2010people complain about OS performance, game performance, camera performance, sound performance ... moreI have to agree with x6 here. A mobile phone can never replace pc,camera, game console, camcorder or music player. It's just a extra multimedia feature. Why do you think pople still buy pc,game console or camera today? Beacuse it gives performance and quality that meant to do that mobile phone can never do. So you grow up and listen it's just a phone!!!!!! Shhhh.

Apple only "chiped" in, in 1990 while ARM already existed for the past 7 years (1983)

But no need to worry, that "Apple Computer" is long dead due to their sub par products.
In 1997 apple was rescued by microsoft and became Apple.inc.

Saying that Apple has anything to do with ARM is like saying Johannes Gutenberg (invented the printing press in the middle ages) has anything to do with today's laser printers.

Whew, yet another history lesson for apple fanboys :))

The only product I think that apple did well on IMHO is the ipad, I have one the only thing its good for is "LITE GAMING" and web access. Its pretty nifty because I need to travel light....But there phones are crap and over rated, also their laptops are over priced, I won't even go to the ipods geezzzzz..... When we talk about smart phones here we need to talk about android and its open source capabilities. At least you can make it your own customize it to the way you want it!!! Besides why would you want to follow fashion!

Since 1964, Nokia had developed VHF radio simultaneously with Salora Oy. In 1966, Nokia and Salora started developing the ARP standard (which stands for Autoradiopuhelin, or car radio phone in English), a car-based mobile radio telephony system and the first commercially operated public mobile phone network in Finland. It went online in 1971 and offered 100% coverage in 1978.
