Vbus allows 4.5v and qc inputs 9v which causes heat accumulation.
Also lots of battery damage reported on wireless charging devices, including note5s and s6, s7 devices.
Thats why obviously Sony went the safe way of usb 2.0 and no wireless charging.

Its a truth. It doesn't make the batteries blow up but it makes them lose charging capacity and that shortens battery life over time.
sorry samsung fanboys your note7 is a real bomb and sony phones are known to be durable and safe. i have xperia P,Z1,z5c and planning to upgrade to xz
AnonD-593871, 05 Oct 2016For the record, I'm 46 and have flashed my Xperia TL and Z3 at least 15 times combined! :-) I ... moreHahaha well I'm 38 and will myself be on the flip side of my own argument in two years. I still contend we're the exception and not the rule when it comes to flashing :)
Tourettes Guy, 05 Oct 2016That's not just it. While being able to charge faster, Lithium batteries looses its capacity t... moreI disagree, it's not great battery life , like I said 15 and upwards in browsing and video that's great , and no one ever complained about one plus heating up. And actually many slow charging phones heat up (Sony included)
This looks exactly the same as my xperia z1.
They've not changed a single thing.
Not a lot wrong with the OS but the bootloader and the look of the phone are both crap.

AnonD-442781, 05 Oct 2016I've read the reviews, which are backed up by numbers. Here is a quote from this site's review... moreThis is interesting from http://www.itechpost.com/amp/articles/34982/20160930/few-more-nights-review-sony-xperia-xz-is-fast-exquisite-and-perfect.htm.
The design might not be to publicly acceptable, but the good news is that Sony's IPS screen engineering remains first class. To the naked eye, it looks attractive, and our X-Rite colorimeter certainly thought so too. The 5.2-inch Full HD display reproduces a nigh-on perfect 99.3% of the sRGB color gamut, hits a highest brightness resolution of 609.7cd/m2, and however, on the other side has a huge contrast ratio of 1,365:1.
Just read this article using a UK Xperia XZ which I received through the post today! Lovely phone and a major upgrade from my trusty (but not waterproof) Xperia Z3.

While being able to charge faster, Lithium batteries looses its capacity to hold charges as it heats up more and more while charging, and most likely that batteries will heat up when charging quickly. And like what I have said, XZ doesn't always have to be plugged in to charger as it has amazing battery life
Tourettes Guy, 05 Oct 2016You know why it charges slower? Because it preserves the health of the battery to make it twic... moreSony always charged slowly, I had the z3 it was slow as hell, same as the z5 premium and there are phones u know who charge insanely fast and haven't blown yet , op3 and dash charging is an example , so that's bull cause any lithium ion battery can already last three years so unless u wanna stay with that stupid mobile for six years u found it congrats
[deleted post]I don't have a problem flashing ROM's. Did it plenty back when I had my HTC One and Nexus 5. It's easy for me personally, and I am guessing it's easy for you as well. That's great, good for you. Now step outside your own point of view for a minute considered for a hot second that what is easy for you and I may not be easy for the masses.
I've never encountered anyone over the age of 40 who is flashing ROM's. I'm sure there are some that do, I have met exactly zero. Your 70 year old grandfather may be great at doing Google searches. Flashing ROM's is not the same thing as doing a Google search. Depending on the device it can be a difficult process.
And while Sony's process may be dead simple to you and I, I seriously doubt most 70 year old's would be game to try it. I'd ask them to chime in and give an opinion here but I doubt many read the comments section of GSM Arena.
I'm not sure about this phone in camera department but i referred to DXOMARK and my Z5 premium got 87 out of 100 and iphone 6s plus grade is 84,Xperia X performance 88 same as galaxy S7 edge
