its like the dell streak nonsense.too small to be a tab too big to be a phone.it tends to be more a phone then a tab but 4.8 and 5 is to much fore day to day use as a phone.you would have to carry a wrist bag of some sort just for that thing and that is not convinient.even 4 is just on the edge of being unconvinient.

In my mind, in the future phones are getting small and compact but has many function,
        But this, it's too big!

4.8 inches! Great looking specs but way too big for hand or pocket,I think 3.5 is about right for a phone to make it user friendly.

For those who cant handle 7 inches (of a tab, plz) 4.8" should be easy as pie.

                    I guess 5" is the new 4"...
I actually think I can get used to a 4.8"

Using x10 right now, and 4" is very very comfortable.

A 4.8 inch screen doesn't make any sense. It's not a phone, it's not a tablet either... Too bad, I really liked the design.

Is not a smartphone (my criteria is to be able to reach with the thumb of one hand all the regions of the screen), but a very small tablet.
I see that the smartphone manufacturers and OS providers just want to play stupid.
This "phone" is 4.7 inch (lol), HTC Desire and Desire HD has no front camera, Apple does not allow Flash, Samsung does not update their phones software, WP 7 is an involution compared with WP6.5, Nokia's Symbian is an ancient OS on low level hardware.

Wow I'm in love! The design is beautiful, the specs are great, if only it was made by HTC, I would definitely buy it, but now I'm a little sceptical.

Well done acer I'm impressed !! My only concern is that I'm not sure how well the camera will perform even though it's an 8mp camera. But other than that I agree with GSMarena in that this phone is truly a beast.

and now once read the article - is 4.8inch not a bit too big? I mean seriously it's a mobile phone.
