exia000, 08 Oct 2016Serious Answer... Anyone asking the kind of question like u do is either have ALL screws loose... moreYou probably live in a poor country where there are no apple stores, where you can only buy apple products from retailers who can sell them at any "insane" prices they want. In the west and most countries who have apple stores an iphone is more or less the same price as the latest samsung flagship. And macbooks are usually only slightly more expensive than the rest. Macbook pro vs xps vs hp spectre. Look at the prices of these direct competitors in the UK for example.

Whatever gate it is, this is surely a scandal in the smartphone's world as iPhone is the standard of all smartphones.

Shouldn't this be Storage-gate as opposed to Memory-gate?

So what. Laptops have done this for a few years now. An the average iPhone user certainly won't care. That said I'm glad I've got the 128 gb model.

Wtf is that article ?! Sure it's slower... Speed in flash memory chip is closely related to density ! So higher capacity model are faster.

My iPhone 6s 64 GB - write 199 MB/s, read 619 MB/s.
Wife's iPhone SE 64 GB write 182 MB/s, read 669 MB/s.

Something isn't right with that 32 GB version. If it was my phone, I would feel cheated now... Not to mention that sapphire glass camera lens...
"Fool me once, shame on you, fool me twice, ..."

I think that there is a very easy solution to any product hassle or defect (which can always happen) - not rushing to buy something as soon as it gets available. People who value their time and money will take some time and spend their money on proven products. And there are no more OEMs that are flaweless, in any industry.

Buying a gadget these days is a huge problem. You have to check to see if everything is working properly or not and even then the device will surprise you (not in a good way) down the line with some issue or the other....
