Charles, 08 Oct 2016There are an explosion of replacement Note 7 in Taiwan yesterday
http://www.appledaily.com.t... moreIs it confirmed that it is a samsung problem and not people trying to cash in. I personally do not understand the language but have enough brain to not believe something that is only there on a website having the name apple in it, considering the rivalary between them.
And fact is it has been over a few weeks since replacement handset was released, and if any manufacturing defect has occured we would have seen in larger numbers than one or even two.
When samsung found a mistake in their original handset they did the right thing and recalled all the sold handsets and replaced them. But you cannot say that replaced note 7 has a defect, just because one single product of a million produced malfunctioned.
Any provider exchanges your phone no matter what phone up to 15 to 30 days after purchase. If you return your Iphone 7 they will take it also. This is just sabotage news.

When the carriers start to offer such exchange, you already know that the things are going downhill and fast.
Anonymous, 08 Oct 2016Yeah keep telling yourself that buddy. Umm... how many issues have been there since the replacement note 7 got released? Only one right? So stop judging on that basis.
If you have a problem of note 7, remember the same company developing replacement note 7 battery is also doing iphone's.
Better yet stop using any phones or products with lithium ion battery as it all got equal chance of flaming up!
Grey1213, 08 Oct 2016The replacement note 7s seem to be fine.Yeah keep telling yourself that buddy.
It's game over for Note 7. http://www.theverge.com/2016/10/7/13207438/att-ending-note-7-sales-rumor

You people do realize that samsung has qlready released more than a million replacement note 7s, of which only one had any problem, keeping it on tab with the iphone 7.
Unless more handsets start catching fire, there is nothing to worry. PEACE!
At least Samsung takes responsibilities for their mistakes unlike LG who doesn't own up to it's "Bootloop" prone devices.
Any good android phone that AT&T or Verizon can recommend to replace Note7. Other than Sony or LG or Pixel or HTC. I said android. Dont go suggesting iphone. And no chinese brand low quality smartphone either. I guess there is none.
AT&T is considering of discontinuing Note7 sales which they should and hope every major carrier should follow suit. The year I want either a Note7 or V20, both kept shooting themselves in the foot. Been an Android guy since 2011-2012 although was an iPhone fan from 2008-2013. The mistakes from both South Korean brands has now forced me into looking at iPhones again after a three year hiatus from iOS.
Will never buy a Samsung phone again. Good riddance. Shame too as the Note7 seems like a great all-around phone only to be plagued by random spontaneous combustion that users can't prevent from happening. Not getting S7 edge either. My trust is gone for Samsung. Oh well. Time to move onto other "safer" phones from Apple, Huawei, OPPO, Xiaomi, Sony, HTC, Motorola, and hopefully Nokia again with a quality Android flagship for 2017.
My Favorite Brands -
Apple (moving up by default)
Tossed Samsung out of my Top 10. Huawei can crack my Top 5. I love the white P9 Plus design. LG, I will skip on their flagships this year with such anemic battery capacities. LG should return to their senses next year with the G6 and V30. I think old school, so Nokia and Motorola tops it for me for reliability. Very few phone brands I trust and Samsung is definitely no longer one of them.

You shouldn't risk your own safety just for a phone that didn't undergo proper quality control. So what if it looks good? I'd rather have a phone that has no propensity to combust in my pocket.
Good guy AT&T and Verizon. At this point everyone should change their brand from samsung to other brand. Samsung mobile is dangerous. For your own and family's safety return your note 7 and stay away from note 7 from at least 100 feet. No need to risk your life for a ultra low class low quality phone. No phone is worth that.
