Why am not surprised?!
Maybe bcz chinesse Note's with "good" batteries exploded also?Just that Sammy and the chinesse media covered all up!

And yeah it would be quite impossible to create and show a text as one sent from samsung! Almost as impossible as the chance of seeing the replacement handsets having a problem outside the US.
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2016Funny how the not so great Apple fans and the fanatic media are jumping up this situation, see... moreNo worries now haha. Samsung kill themselves. Note7 will bring their name down in flames.
This time Samsung and its flameboys cannot blame anyone else.. but themselves only!

Sammy was so arrogant to lower their asking price and they said other android rival
has to take the blame because the poor sale.
Other flagship was sell at 1/3rd of galaxy price and now they deserve this .

Any handset if you heat near the battery would flame up. The media just jumps on it and says it is so and so, without any real confirmation.
Shamesung tried to cover up a serious case of an exploding Note 7 yesterday. The victim was actually hospitalized due to inhalation of toxic smoke, and a Sammy employee accidentally texted the victim about trying to prevent him going to the media/legal action! This is the company that says it cares about its customers' safety? I don't think so! Shame on them!
I cannot believe how inspired i was choosing between Note 7 and some other phone, long before Note 7 was available for pre-order. Mainly because no stereo speakers, no bigger battery, no DAC, no 6 GB ram.
Note 7 biggest failure in phone history, waiting for note 8.

And samsung is not the competition, they introduced the note series long before, when apple were saying thier 3 inch screen was the best screen size possible. So apple is the competitor that has never actually been able to reach the notes success.
unown, 10 Oct 2016for samsung fan. please buy note7 to support samsung :), its the least you can do for the winYes Sammy fans, please buy Note 7, maybe you will all vanish in the end, with the help of your superb handset. As Samsung's korean rival says, Life's Good!

Either way couldn't care for the reasons, Samsung needs to be put down a couple of notches so that they abandon their Apple copy trends and go back to user replaceable batteries.
Sammy blame competitor, when other brand sell twice cheaper price compare to their galaxy phone.
Now they blame the battery supplier due to this current exploding situation
and they never blame themselves.
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2016Yeah except generally the Galaxy does last longer. Nice try.
And yeah cause you know no htc ... morei have had the M7, M8 and the HTC 10 is on the way..
i have the note 5 so i know samsungs besides the 7edge with my wife..
yes..samsung amoled looks better but when it comes to batteries..HTC are the best from among the popular brands..
i usually dont like bloggers reviews or what the companies claim about their products but posted the above link as some people like to see reviewers comments and thats fair..
but i talk from my own personal experience which i trust more :) kidding..
but seriously, every person uses his phone differently, the samsungs will probably last longer if the screen brightness is low...i usually leave mine minimum 80%..thats where HTC exceeds...my note 5 is weak in terms of battery...barely above 2 hours of screen time at those levels of screen brightness where HTC blows it away..
there are certain things some brands offer better than others...both are very good brands..im not trying to bash samsung here but i cant say they dont deserve what came their way after cheating and copying in the past..dont bash your competitors on blogs with false claims if they offer good products like Samsung did to HTC when M7 was released
Mobilemaster, 10 Oct 2016Yes, they are innovative, facts are facts. If you are talking about exploding phones, there w... moreI'm not defending Apple, oh gosh not even close, but I guess an exploding Iphone looks like a phone packed by Samsung with C4, to show that even their competitors have this problem. Let's wake up people, we are being fooled by far too long.
This what they deserve, when I bought my Note 4 it had flaw that screen scraces very easly
no offering replacment phone no screen replacment just said it is first series of phone
it had that issue so I just paid 700e for phone with faulty screen
XD I am laughing so hard my sides hurt, I confess I am without remorse for Samsung's plight. They had it coming for long time ever since they decided to copy the cancerous trends set by Apple, forgetting what made Samsung flagships great in the first place. Here's hoping this damages not just their reputation but also their profits as much as possible. Corporations won't learn when the buyer base is filled with tribal mindset people who only complain of shortcomings but then fail miserably to vote with their wallets.
