Now that Samsung stopped the Note 7 sale/replacement, they might as well concentrate on updating their older phones (circa 2014/15) to Marshmallow. This is what happens if a phone company is lousy with updating their older smartphones to latest Android version that the phone can handle
stupid fan boys think any company cares about their fans. lol. tell me which company gave you a 100$ bill for being their fan or sent you free goodies? grow up. save your hard earned money instead of giving it to big companies and acting like sheep.
It's really embarrassing for Samsung I am not techie but my personal observation is that what they tried with the 14nm chips are not managing heat properly and now it's question why should we pay if companies run blindly behind the innovation at the stake of owners safety. Maybe waterproofing causing this as it seizes all ventilation and it might create hot zone inside the phone
Stefy , 10 Oct 2016Ok, tell me a phone company that are putting their fans first and I will buy you a smartphone ... moreI'm not a fan of HTC,LG,Samsung or Apple.I am currently with Sony x compact. No complaints.

Stefy , 10 Oct 2016Why removable battery?! The removable battery phones was from the time when phones tend to fr... moreNo, you are thinking it wrong. The battery may be lasted only for say 2 years, but the internal of the mobile can last a lot longer around may be 4-5 years. Sealed battery means after battery expire, you have to throw the phone away which is, except the battery completely fine. If you have an option to change the battery EASILY by yourself, you can use the phone another 2 years simply by changing the dead battery. The only disadvantage is for the phone company whose selling number may drop. Rest are all benefits.
[deleted post]samsheep, that's funny, I own a sony smartphone..

you run along little boy and play with your little chinesse toys.. don't tell me, you have a 6gb ram, 128gb storage phone from China and you are loving it..like mc'donalds :))
Anonymous, 10 Oct 2016shamesung boom!!!
reconsider a removable battery phone again, do nit copy crapple again! Why removable battery?!
The removable battery phones was from the time when phones tend to freeze all the time and nothing worked..so you removed the battery for a hard reset. And everybody changed their phones once every 2-3 years, so the batteries will die in that time and needed replacement.
Nowadays the majority of people change their phones once 6 months/1 year. Every battery has a lifespan of 1-2 years.. so you will change your phone before the battery will die out..
couldnt have happened to a nicer company...
i have galaxy note 5 but i dont mind seeing them suffer..
their move to tarnish HTC reputation when HTC one was released was disgusting and hillarious..to pay bloggers to bad mouth HTC on blogs..and probably there are tons of them still around whom you see bash other brands..
guess what..i just ordered HTC 10 last thursday... im not bashing samsung products but note was bought for work purposes...other than that i dont use it much...my personal one with the blinkfeed is a must for me most of the times!

I mean look at Apple, I bet all their fans wanted the 3.5mm jack to go away..
Look at LG, all their fans wanted a lego phone (LG G5)..
HTC, the last time they change the appearence of their phones was last century, I bet all their fans are conservatives..
Wake up and smell the roses, neither company is putting their fans first, they are thinking only at profit, and how to change something in their next phones to gain as much cash they could..
reconsider a removable battery phone again, do nit copy crapple again!
I will always buy a smartphone that will look good and from a trusted company, no matter what (samsung, sony, htc, lg)..
So, for all you haters out there, I will continue to trust Samsung.
p.s. In life you have to ask yourself: You want a cake to share with your friends or a s&&t alone..
This is probably due to the fact that battery technology simply hasn't kept up in terms of evolution with the breakneck speeds screen resolution, processing power, amount of memory & storage have all been growing lately. Maybe now they'll finally start putting out next-gen batteries too. Too bad people had to have their legs burned.
