I doubt removable batteries will come back, most people would be happy with a 4000mAh battery to give around 100 hours.
Good phone, awesome camera, someone, somewhere rushed things, messed up and its dead.
DON"T RUSH YOUR PHONES!!
DOn't blame the battery!!! Blame the Company that designed such a flawed hazardous device.
Followin this "explodgate" of note 7. My old little s6 edge is getting hotter too. Is it just me or others too finding something similar.
Last thing i want will be a exploding device in my pocket
This seems to be Kernel Fault, overcharging batteries with few extra current and voltage leading to fire.

When it catches fire, will a person be in position to remove cover and throw out the burning piece? In general condition, a person simply throws away the entire handset for his/ her own safety first.
Also burning battery ( even if it remaibs for few seconds inside) will surely damage some of the internal components of handset, and possibly screen also. Replacing it with new battery will not repair them. It still has to be repaired/ replaced. In short whole handset shall be as good as new one( except few salvaged components). But this will be more time consuming.
Replaceable battery doesn't help.
It's a common sense around.... whichever the battery they put, it fires... something goes wrong when an overloaded process of some chip makes a cause of short circuit to its power cards... this is something Samsung used in other phones as well... some kind of software sorce-codes like touch-wiz trigger that process... a few other older models also appeared in news to get burnt... and it is possible that some sort of software update cause them to this stat... because those phones had no problem in past and now they catched fire following Note7....
AnonD-444894, 12 Oct 2016stop trolling you Apple paid spy . This is industrial sabotage , Apple caused this by infi... moreHahaha poor guy, accusing other phone over Samsung flaw... keep it up maybe samsung will give you a reward hahaha
well thats the truth right there bro, if sammy did not choose to bite the hand that feeds 'em(customers) by selling us phones with planned obsolence they would be in a very different position right now. with happy customers who would not mind splashing out more money on thier next note device. if only they learn to listen they will be far better off, we need a user repleacable bettery and not a bomb we cant pull out of the phone casing when its about to set my pants on fire. under handed tactics have thiere reward and its painfull when its getting dished out aint it.
an official appology to all samsung customers who were put at risk by this gross neglegence from samsung will be needed if they expect thier loyal customers like me to proceed using thier products. thats my view of this situation
Apple has blood on their hands, they use the same battery manufacturer and knew about the defects but said nothing to Samsung. This is now coming to light.
Samsung should be banned from producing hazardous products... The end is coming bells are ringing...

This had nothing to do with the Chinese or Apple. Take off your tin hats and except that Samsung stuffed up.

The US Market all use Quallacom Processor, Yet other Markets Uses the Exynos Processor. Most of the Exploding Battery are reported from the US that uses the Quallacom Processor Model. Don't forget there were News about an old mobile that uses the Quallacom processor that over heat. and some other news were talking about the overheating processor.
The Chinese government sabotaged Samsung to promote it's domestic products. It's really obvious. One Plus, Xiomi, Huawei and blah blah are to blame for all this. What goes around comes around, watch your back Chinese crap makers.
Thats explosive news! kidding i own one still no news here in the Philippines if theres going to be a cash refund not gonna downgrade to s7 edge.
Why do haters still care about this phone? The Note7 had been discontinued. Its dead. No more. Die. Obsolete. So, all haters please go back to your cave until Samsung release a new flagship for you to hate.
