AnonD-569198, 14 Oct 2016Or, instead of flashing you could just use a replacement launcher like Nova or Action or Light... moreUh, are you aware that a replacement launcher doesn't really make the whole OS UI different and faster? That's the problem with TouchWiz, can't be fully fixed up with a launcher - however I tried that with Nova and bunch of others. CM-rom made the phone much faster and nicer to use.
I will buy next Note, phone w/o competition for us s-pen users, immediately when it will be launched.
LOL its a US based survey.. so it literally doesn't even mean anything!
As owner of Galaxy S4 i have the right to say:
After the Note 7 fiasco, do i buy a Samsung gsm product? - Definitely not.
By the way i remember a friend with a S4 , who his original battery was swollen.
Oh yes.....! in the past Samsung had similar problems!
The third error that is still making Samsung, and this is a suicide, is that the galaxy products continue to be ridiculous expensive.
In this very moment, Samsung must drop the prices as low as can be, so to be attractive to the crowd.
A very good example is what LG have done with the LG G4.
The LG G4 model has a master issue to get bricked because of ...? i am not sure.
But what LG is doing is to continue sell this model in a super attractive price with 2 years guaranty.
Guess what? I bought one for my wife even if i know that maybe will be bricked.
But she will have a super phone for 2 years.
So this is the solution: give to the people attractive prices to forget this historic parody.
I already bought 3 Samsung devices since the last time I said I wouldn't ever buy Samsung again.
I'm not surprised with those numbers as it was a "US-Based Survey", tell us something new.
My Sony Xperia ZL broke after 2,5 months of normal usage when i bought it as a new phone but that didn't stop me from buying another Xperia later. But i didn't even thought about buying another ZL even that i loved it. My point is, one flawed phone model from a company doesn't ruin their whole name for many loyal customers, but they will most likely avoid that one flawed phone forever.
Anonymous, 14 Oct 2016every body go for sony !! sony is the best off all .. don't be foool everyone just buy sony !!... moreSony and Lg have better os than sammy. Sony would be back in the game if sony makes better camera, speaker, audio output level!!!!! I will buy sony again. Until then, im sticking to lg.
This survey tells nothing. I totally agree that Brand loyalty is for the brain dead.

After using s1-s4, i told myself never buy sammy again. I was tempted with the s6-s7 until now. Poor sammy.
I have a note 10 2014 and I will never buy another Samsung product in my life.
Well, I had one Samsung (Galaxy S4) and after that I haven't bought a single phone made by them - the hardware was okay, but TouchWiz has always been horrible in my opinion, no it needed to be reflashed with a CM-rom.
Anonymous, 14 Oct 2016Every time I change my phone I buy the best , most value for money phone available despite the... moreI have to comment on your flawed logic " Brand Loyalty is for Brain Dead Sheep"
There's a big flaw in your in statement!
I wonder if how many smaller companies had problems with phones on the scale of Samsungs would simply collapse or go bankrupt? Once bankrupt you get no refund or compensation! You are left with a big hole in your pocket and a lump of useless components in your hand!
Brand loyalty gives you brand protection and they care about there image and name and so there customer care should* be the best. Otherwise people leave that brand behind.
Thats why people go for brand :-)
Anonymous, 14 Oct 2016So if you need a pen for productivity, why don't check Samsung tablets with S Pen? Bigger scre... moreAs I commute a lot,I have a surface pro 4 for most of my heavy design stuff,But as you know when commuting by rail you don't always have the space for using a tablet,That's why I love the Note series.
As for the Note series or name being discontinued I probably doubt it, Samsung have brought there phone series numbering in-line with Apples so as to be direct competition methinks. Hopefully by the end of next year I shall have an S8 or Edge 8 and a Note 8.
Thanks for your replies.
As for the P9 another poster suggested I'm always a bit wary putting my foot into the unknown. I shall see reviews from all the other users and may get one if it turns out to be good.
