I want to return my Note 7, but the return process in South Korea is not as transparently easy as it is in The United States. We don't have incentives, and Samsung Service Centers don't help you at all with the exchange. And the cell phone carriers do not help you. You can only return the phone at the Point of Origins. And in my case, it came from a legit Internet phone store. Except now, the company isn't taking phone calls. They aren't offering any sort back pay for down grading the phone. And the window of time to return the phone is pretty small. So, I will probably end up keeping the phone.
But my phone isn't blowing up. It has no functional problems at all. It doesn't even get warm when I charge it.
I really dislike the Samsung brand. I am so unhappy about how they delegated the responsibility to the stores. There are NO fireproof boxes in Korea. And Samsung Service Center Reps act like they have never seen a Note 7 before.
And then these very same people are gonna sue samsung for not providing support for a phone that has been officialy discontinued and deemed a fire hazard.
