Get Real!, 02 Dec 2010LOL, if everyone thinks that way, it won't be 'differendish' any longer since everyone would ... moreYour gripes are laughable! Have you even seen the phone, much less used it?!? Doesn't have Exchange integration???!? Its call ActiveSync! You can block Facebook & Twitter "friends" from showing up in the Contacts!!! Image resizing is done by EVERY other phone, why is this expressed as a Venue Pro only problem by you?!? Cant use it as a navigation device?!?! ARE YOU HIGH!!!?!?! I makes a GREAT Nav device!
It is really funny that the leader in PC OS is nowhere when it comes to MOBILE OS. Looks like BULLOCK CART in the age of BULLET TRAIN. dOES NOT MEAN SPEED but the functionality and usability
djscope, 02 Dec 2010so many reviews on good reviews on wp7... But ive still still yet to see a review from some1 w... moreI've used the WP7 for about 20 days. I love the interface and the people part of the phone. I hate there aren't as many apps as my iPhone, no multitasking, no wifi printing, and no unified inbox.

if everyone thinks that way, it won't be 'differendish' any longer since everyone would have the same phone. :-)
On my part, I just pass on WM7 - too many limitations and cool and sexy hardware can't make up for it.
Microsoft's philosophy behind the concept of WP7 just seems to target a user base that yet has to be born. For businesses, the WP7 os just doesn't qualifies due lack of direct Outlook synchronization and security concerns (Cloud synchro). For geeks ... well, forget it! For the 'just wanna call' user, nah, they don't want facebook and twitter in their contacts! For the photographer, he would most likely want to be able to download images directly to the computer or upload them again into the phone without the phone tempering with the files (resizing). For the gamer and 'cool kid', not much of 3rd-party software out there and basically no customization other than changing bg color. For the all-rounder: all of the above. I can't even really use it as navigation device, so, what is the point?
Do I really need Microsoft telling me on how to use my phone? That spot is already occupied by Apple, sorry MS!
I'll just stick to my HD2 until it breaks down on me. Yo!
so many reviews on good reviews on wp7... But ive still still yet to see a review from some1 who actually owns a wp7 phone not just ppl who reviewed it for a day or 2 and gave it back
100 bucks - you always get what you pay for...remember that!
love the hardware, but MicroSoft needs to improve WinP7... no multitasking, no video call, can't transfer files through bluetooth are big no-no for some people (inlucding me)
I wonder if this phone has an unlocked version coming out soon. I would love to get one unlocked.
Hi,I'm currently a samsung Omnia Pro user and Dell venue pro vs the motorola droid 2/milestone 2 is a better comparison for my liking since those have both hardware qwerty..
Despite what many say about the hardware qwerty on the droid 2 not being among the best, its form factor is nicer with the side of the screen not letting so much extra unused space as in the venue pro :/
Venue pro design reminiscenses of the old tv sets in the 70s whereas the droid 2 looks more like the flat screens of the 90s.So much unused space on the side of the screen of the Venue Pro and around it till the edges with a 4.3" screen?Seems too bulky in the end;and besides a 3,7" screen would be enough for me even in case of surfing or watching an episode of the big bang theory etc on my smartphone.
cheers
Wow windows 7 is taking over!
Probably the only windows phone i would ever want. the rest are all the same. at least this one is different.......ish
Looks kinda like the Palm Pre of the Windows phones huh?
Sexiest phone of the year!
Next to SEx10 and iPhone4
