Alien , 17 Oct 2016Go ahead and buy those chinese craps. Meanwhile, in Europe at least we want quality. That's s... moreHuawei has much more sales in Europe than Sony. The Huawei p9 alone probably sold better than anything Sony put out.

Huawei are only looking at Samsung, Apple, and Chinese competitors. They're not looking at small, declining oems like HTC and Sony which aren't even worth mentioning.

Id rather have a 2-3 year old Sony, HTC than a brand new fortune cookie..
Welcome back Nokia! I hope you will make HIGH-end phones. Nobody needs mids and lows, except for the Indians lmao

I think Nokia is quiet about anything regarding phones/tablets because it's HMD Global that will be responsible for the marketing of these devices as HMD mentioned on their website. Nokia will just receive royalties from HMD for allowing them to use the "Nokia" brand. It's interesting that the "Nokia" brand (for phones/tablets) is in a very unique position.

AnonD-569840, 17 Oct 2016it's people like you that kill these companies, you're urging them to come up with a phone that... more"if people didn't buy Nokia 3 years ago what makes you think they gonna buy it now, especially with tougher Chinese competition on the market"

this is the most easiest question lol...

the answer is ANDROID !!!! previously they were stuck with wp os
still Nokia was able to make an OS with no apps successful and increase market share to 5% all by itself
imagine if it only had Android ...
Chinese competition will and always exist .. that is a different market .. and a market for branded phones will always exist ... Chinese OEMs lack durability and most importantly brand recognition and after sale services , easy offline availability
Samsung sells a ton of those j series phones .. why ? when they are pathetic compared to Chinese competition... brand power !!
Nokia can easily come here and make a 2nd place for itself ... considering now sony ,HTC and lg have given up on low - mid range phones..

high end is a different matter . just bring a 1020 like phone with preview tech with latest specs with android ..advertise it .. price it 10-15% lower than Samsung and see it sell... with Samsung brand taking a huge hit now there is a golden opportunity ..
Nokia n1 tablet was quite successful as a test model
