5-7 Million?? You are either Android or iOS...I doubt that its that many but it would be more plausible if they said that 2-3 Million Samsung users change to Sony XZ or HTC 10 or LG V20.
But it is true that this is the downfall of Samsung,
Samsung has met its fate....A bomb
Anonymous, 18 Oct 2016iPhone 7 can explode too. Read the news before buying that crap. You are sarcastic af. Every phone explode not just Shamesung and Cripple. Instead of calling others to read news, you, yourself should read more news.
Ridiculous. You either prefer Android or you prefer IOS. If you prefer Android then there are plenty of decent Android alternatives - even from Samsung! Switching to Apple makes no sense if you know the OS capabilities of both systems (i.e. Apple somewhat easier to use but locked down, Android slightly harder to grasp but way more flexible and configurable). I think it just shows the ignorance of many users.
Returned my Note 7 and got an iphone 7 plus 128 GB Jet black. I love it so far :D

AnonD-507427, 18 Oct 2016Hahahaha welcome to the iOS iPhone RulesLol. If you mean your mind and wallet then yes indeed
I believe this. Many people around my age, mid twenties, are fairly tech savvy, most of the people I know have switched platforms multiple times already. I haven't switched so many times, but I have done so in the past as well. So has my parents...
I don't believe so, is not like switching to a different brand, how many users wants to move to a totally different OS?
I will either buy another Android platform phone or wait for the next best Samsung phone to come out Apple iPhone is not an option to me because Apple has too much control over the device I cannot transfer files Bluetooth willingly with iPhone Android I can share files with all my friends that have Android devices.
Android FanBoy, 18 Oct 2016I dont think so. most of the people buying iPhones comes from rich family which i think receiv... moreno is not, if that is your argument is true then i have a neighbor here who's job is robbery and he use's iphone 6s.

Anonymous, 18 Oct 2016Doubt these numbers are accurate, how does 7 million switch over when they max was only 2.5 mi... morebecause the Note 7 was going to be produced for a year. You can't only look at what was already produced. you have to look at total sales over 12 months. Note 7 is dead which means all potential sales of that device might result in sales of other Samsung phones or other Android phones. Apple will definitely benefit as consumers might look to Apple for quality. I myself live Android.
Yeah... couldn't afford to repair my S5 and got along with an iPhone for a few months.
Samsung for life
Jarret, 18 Oct 2016Apple should be the culprit to the Note7 faultyi agree with you, apple engineer made an apps that consume more power and put in play store the apps intended for note 7 even you close the apps still running at the background, that's why not all note 7 the same fate the one who downloaded the apps made by apple.
I switched from iPhone 6 to S7 Edge and it's been 15 days now. I'm missing iOS while using Facebook, Android Facebook App sucks also Emoji integration on iPhone is great! Although S7 Edge is fast compared to my old iPhone 6 and longer battery.
