Only in your dreams.....
Android is the best, a completely open OS, and we don't have the software/hardware issues that linux on the PC has, lol I'm posting this from a Desire HD ROM on my HD2.
A more clever move by Microsoft should have been to buy this from Chevron or let them develop it further and put it on marketplace. This way development of Phone 7 will be much faster.
The thing about Microsoft is they know in order to win customer they have to listen, and they have unlike Sony Ericsson who should have went straight to 2.2 for it's X10 Experia. They didn't listen and people won't buy their stuff. I got my eye on WP7 in my future.
This decision is basically what "Listen to your customers" means.
Smart move MS, smart move.
quite a smart decision by microsoft.
Probably it is named Chevron after Stargate's gate symbols
dont care till its ported to the hd2!!! ms and there stupid apple like policy
Im slowly coming round to this OS. I think it may be time to jump the iOS Ship and head on over to windows land.
the news actually cheer up my day ~
now this is what a serious vendor does one that has real experience with platforms (mobile or not its still a platform) opening up the platform is what should happen for android and iOS as well, very smart MS, congrats to all wp7 users, (i am on android atm, but this looks very promising)
No need to miss the tool tho. Sure the team might have pull it out of their website but the tool is already out in the wild now, and someone who is in possession of it may just re-release it...
CHEVRON?! Why did they use a name like that? Lol
Side note: Love WP7
Microsoft has to honor this; nothing's going to stop the ChevronWP7 team to relaunch their tool (or make a new one) if Microsoft doesn't open it themselves.
the future is this... android is best os till date... but google need to work hard to be the firt.... as this wm7 might take its position....
lookin forward for multi tasking n home brew apps there....
but will the windows 7 platform be opened immediatley? I spose the 2 'first' muppets sat there all day waitin to write that. nothin more constructive to spend your time on?
