Wireless charging? If yes finally a real smartphone on the market!
V34 is the best. LG bring it to the rest of the world, then your will see your financial postion improving.
Ok, phone looks great. One question: let's say I will be in Japan for a week or two. I need to grab some prepaid one way or another. If I go with "Au Japan" and I will take it with that LG V34. Will it work in EU? What frequencies are used in Japan for e.g. LTE?
Between LGs limited release of the V20 and V34, Sony's high pricing and HTCs under performing mid range phones, and virtually no advertising between any of them, it seems as though they all want Samsung and Apple to dominate the market.
Only 146g, only 72mm wide, plus all the v20 goodies: Very nice smartphone !
However i would not buy it unless LG opens up to the mod community so that developers can build and install the rom they/i want. A small look in the LG v10 xda forum is disheartening....
An independent rom is the only way to get system and security updates on a daily basis instead of having to wait several months or more than one year in many cases depending on the phone.
I just bought an Axon 7, but i reckon the best choice right now may be the Oneplus 3 thanks to its very active mod community. We Axon 7 users are still waiting for something concrete from ZTE...
However if LG opens up to the mod community and puts a 830 in the next v34, i will get it for sure. With mil810g this would be my ideal phone....
Why... Why Japan always has the best things??!! T^T
Just-right size, with the top-end specs, and also, waterproofing!!! @@

Wow... People like me would rather get this than the V20 due to it's massive size.
Seriously LG? Why do you do this? 'Do you want low sales? Coz that's how you get low sales.' Would be great if it got released in the European market.
Cka1, 18 Oct 2016No docomo has the best coverage in general with more Lte bands while softbank doesnt lease out... moreI agree...the overall size is similar to G5, whereas the display is smaller than in G5. Don't appreciate that. I would instantly switch my G5 with this one, if it would have the G2 screen to body ratio and keep the display size of G5 or G2.
That means they could have put a 3600mah battery on the v20. If the v34 has 3000mah and had a 0.7 screen reduction.
When it comes to business LG seems to not get what people want. Their timing is so poor with the LG V20, they don't put a bigger battery in it, they don't release this phone LGV34 to the world. What are you doing LG?
So this is basically a better V20 because the same battery on smaller display means better battery life and adding waterproofing.
AnonD-136153, 18 Oct 2016I think that's bad move, cause with that spec i think that will be success if launch around th... moreI suggest you go for Japan for a trip. Almost everywhere is filled with Apple products, you can hardly find any Andriod device there. They don't care for the Note 7 at all.
