Putting too much strong performance core will result on more power consumption, worsened smartphone battery life. Power and efficiency shall be balance
Fast GPU, UFS2.1 storage, fast RAM... seems like they fixed everything wrong with the 950/955. I hope they fix the screen calibration and don't make the p10 larger than the p9 in any way, it should be my next phone.
Samsung must create two differnt chipset of both S8 and Note 8. Not like s7 uses 8890 and note 7 8890 too.they must give a higher clock on note models for interesting performance
"it supports UFS 2.1 storage for blazing fast performance" in your dreams. UFS is nothing compared to NVMe. Even Samsung knows that, that's why their new high end SSDs are build on NVMe. And I like that HiSilicon admits that A10 Fusion is faster as you can see in the images ;)
Huawei is an innovative company. Their phones perform extremely well in real life scenarios even after 2-3 years. Nice to see that they upped their GPU game here
Any of soc will beat A10 today or next year, but A11 will beat next 1 year+ of any soc.
A11 will made of TSMC 10nm FF.(Think if A11 will have octa-core proccessor it will desktop and console type graphic and proccessing power.)
Qxdir, 19 Oct 2016Huaweis EMUI is one of the fastest android skins I completely agree
My man we haven't got past 10 core in mobile cpu segment and u want 16-32 core graphics from a non streamline gpu manufacturer(i am hinting at NVIDIA). u need to wait for at least Q 1~2 2017 for the core count to go above 12(power vr gt 7900)
Anonymous, 19 Oct 2016SD650/652 supports 4kI was talking about Kirin chipsets, not Qualcomm Ohsnapdragon chipsets.
Most people wont like it .
It Doesn't come with extremely powerful GPU.
We need it or not but GPU should have been a 16 core or 32 core .
Its not me but the people, I say its good chipset for smooth performance. I dont look at benchmark scores.

So this XX% increment in perfomance i... moreThe gpu is better than anything on android this year, but next year QUALCOMM and Samsung would do better, just like with the mate 8. But this is just in benchmarks, in real life apparently Huawei phones perform quite well.
Shaun Moroz, 19 Oct 2016Well, since Huawei's chipsets never supported 4K, and since my P9 has the Kirin 955 chipset (w... morei think they do support 4k but you know 4k isnt used by all.only 10-20 percent use it so maybe huawei did not include that bcoz of that reason+it makes the device overheat so
