I'm not being a fanboy here but befo... moreYou are wrong, tablets existed before, and there was sold millions, but many companies feared that is the end of portable computer technology, and they try to hide it selling laptops instead, than the tech of smartphone rush popularity throw dominance making cheaper wireless data, opens possibility to larger market for smartphones and tablets.
Search about nokia tablets or Compaq TC1000 and TC1100, i had it sens 2003 tablet with winxp on it, funboy!

So basically were are now waiting how long it takes for other manufacturers to get pentaband, USB OTG, Dolby Surrond Digital Plus, 1/1.83 inch camera sensors, Virtual RAM, 720p HDMI video output etc. About 2 years maybe?

They were meant for notebooks/netbooks. Don't argue about things you don't know about. And while you praise your iPad, the hardware behind it based on ARM architecture. All iPad did, was take a Cortex A8 and overclock it to 1GHz and renamed it A4.
If you want to troll, that is your business, stupid as it may be. But don't try to argue on a topic you know nothing about. Just because it is your opinion or fantasy, doesn't make it true.

And BTW, how do you know that the n8 is struggling to reach the 1 mil mark? Nokia doesn't do the apple way and boast their sales numbers online. Of all you know, it has surpassed the 1mil already. :)

Qt supports builds for both Symbian^3 and Meego..... m... moreyou left some names....not only it supports s^3 and meego it also supports s60 5th edition...and the best part s60 3rd edition.... Nokia released qt pack for s60 3rd...i can install qt apps.........with more than 30,000 apps from s60v3 meego is definitely the king....its gd to see that nokia doesnt forget the old devices....
