The pixel phones look very promising but I find the price for the sim free version too high. It is a drastic increase from the previous Nexus phones. I owned the Motorola Nexus 6 and the Huawei 6P which were much cheaper. And they are still great phones by all standards today, especially the Nexus 6P with its QHD amoled screen and brilliant camera.
Google should not have priced its phones like Apple or Samsung flagships but should have oriented itself more on the previous Nexus generation. It is ridiculous that in the near future one has to spend close to 1000 Euros on a sim free flagship phone and the prices keep going up.
No use of purchasing, bcoz they promise to updates till 2018 only. What is the use of purchasing such expensive phone
since those SD card write permission fiasco, pixel is the new round of effort from Google to help Apple level the playing field. Well done
After my Note7 was recalled twice I decided to preorder the Pixel in very Blue on announcement day. It's already the 20th night where I'm from and still no Pixel delivered. When Apple says it's released on the 20th you'll get yours in the mail on the exact same date when you preorder. Google what's going on?
