Just got the UK update, evening of 8 March 2017. It took about 45 minutes in total to download and install.
My Moto G4 Plus was bought unlocked last August 2016 from Motorola UK.
Goodness, at long last. Lenovo, you need to do much better than this...It has taken far too long, especially for a Motorola phone, originally the first to update before you guys took over
Got the update in Ireland, finally. It takes about 20 mins to update
Nigel , 08 Mar 2017update arrived in the UK At last, UK update. I've got an unlocked Moto G4 Plus bought from Motorola UK last August. One of the reasons I bought it was to receive timely updates! But Lenovo has put paid to that. Lenovo have made a mess of Motorola.
after live chat they said :
Ranjith: Already nougat is been relaesed as the updates are released by batch wise and country wise through air I advise you to be patience and it will be updated soon
Worst company ever...
Still nothing in the UK for my Moto G4 XT1622, are we even going to get Nougat this year?
khual, 21 Oct 2016i'm using g4plus bt still didn't get any notification, even manually..pliz help. The official OTA update rollout started from 27 December2016 & almost 60% of G4 & G4 plus phones are updated but still it depends on country & region. But stay calm ae it is sure that all Moto g4 / plus,x,z devices will get the 7.0 & after that 7.1.1 update.I am from India and I've received the update on 28 December at 11.30 pm and I have also been told by the higer software development authority of Moto India on a call(customer care) the in coming this month our devices will be updated to Android 7.1.1 Though they refused to tell me the exact date & about pixel launcher & Google assistant.
