SHOCK-WAVE, 24 Oct 2016stop insulting your readers intelligence for one moment GSM, and samsung should stop with the ... moreI'm trying to figure out the logic behind your statement. How would hiding the answers preserve credibility? If anything, it reflects poorly on Samsung.
If they had the answer, wouldn't it make sense to publicly address their findings quickly so they can ensure future customers that the problem is being taken care of, and then move on to the s8?
Hide the answers and delay the s8 to preserve credibly? Why? Just curious.
If it is a design flaw, the explosion will be easily reproducible because it will affect ALL Note 7 units.. If it is a manufacturing defect, it should be found by now and it is easily rectified for the next batch.. Now it is NO for both case.. The third logical explanation would be sabotage.. The x-ray of exploded units saw protrusion on the battery.. Did someone stabbed the battery? Then came the media hype and the flight ban.. Even the explosion of the replacement Note 7 is not properly investigated.. The management is pushed to make the easiest and quickest decision to kill the Note 7.. And the personnel who was pushing for the kill decision is a top management with close ties to the US compared to others.. In the end they found no fault in the Note 7 despite rigorous testing.. And report of Note 7 explosion stopped worldwide despite millions of users still using the Note 7.. This is a sad story indeed.. Those who are still with their lovely Note 7 should march on with pride.. As they are currently using the best most feature packed phone ever(2016) and they are unique and rare.. Salute
Anonymous, 24 Oct 2016"sony known for its premium quality product" omg what a incredible joke Don't buy Sony mobile ... moreThis is an article about the inability of investigation of samsung about the cause of note 7 explosions, not about Sony smartphones or Sony mobile corporation, All those trollers please mind your own business without putting useless comments on this article.
american, 24 Oct 2016OMG! That is so true. Someone is just messing with Samsung. I sort of knew that all the news i... moreIf this was fake! Why is Samsung sending fire safe boxes and gloves to customers to return their phones back? no one is reporting about it now, because most phones have been returned back to Samsung. Btw people who still continue to use Samsung note 7 cannot charge their phones beyond 60% and won't receive any service or software updates from Samsung.
Lack of ventilation due to dust and water resistant features, plus quick charging, all causing the device to overheat.
Anonymous , 24 Oct 2016Atleast Sony phones don't explode...hahahahahaz3+ was overheating and almost burned.
but this poor coward company never take full responsibility to recall it.
but instead, they release software updates "TO REDUCE THE CPU CLOCKS, and make it throttle MORE OFTEN".
what a terribly bad company. fixing a bug by reducing performance eh??
the "chip"... it controls how much energy is transferred to battery... guess who designed the speed charging in those chips? Not Samsung. Samsung needs to crack the instructions in the chip that identifies their phone and does its thing. not gonna name rival company nAme and the involvement...
Anyway, get Samsung to put their Exynos chip in that phone and no problem. Hope samsung checks out the instructions carefully in those chips now that they got the contract to make the 10nm
Nobody, 24 Oct 2016Hey shamsung fanboy sony known for its premium quality product not like shamsung poor quality ... moreQuality?
Like the back glass cracking spontaneously without any reason even?
Like they phones overheating even under normal use?
Like their camera lens getting scratched if it touches anything harder than a baby's bottom?
That's quality for you? Typical Sony Fanboy.
Anonymous, 24 Oct 2016Sony quality ? Every Sony phone at works gives us all sorts of problems. We advice users again... moreGuessed you end up with a lemon unit...
I never used any protective cover for my Xperia M2, slide it into pockets and bags, and occasionally drop it or sat on it when its in my back/butt pocket, and till today it still works... The battery only lost near to 2 hours on screen time with LTE on... All the abuses didn't kill the phone except for a few dead pixels and scuffs all over...
Plus I always make sure I never overcharge the battery, no overnight charging... And I trust Li-Poly battery cells than the common Li-Ion...

Are these so called "Worried" media not worried about the note 7s anymore ???
Not 100% of note 7s are returned to samsung. I guess there are at least 50% pending ... so no issue with these huh !!! ... All those "Phone was just sitting there and turned off" scenarios may have just stopped i guess. All these note 7s became smart on their own that they are not blowing up anymore. ... lol !!

I sort of knew that all the news is fake and staged. Not a single Note7 ever exploded since its discontinued. No one ever complain anymore about it. No one claiming damages from Samsung anymore. This whole thing is a big global conspiracies to stop Samsung from selling Note7.
Samsung still clueless that the seconds series of incidents are staged and there is no issue with the phone :P :P :P.
No note 7 has caught fire since the production stopped .. lmao ... not sure why media is not searching for note 7 incidents after production stopped ... lol .. looks like there job (and related funding from competition) was to just make samsung stop production !!!!
Shamsung needs to recall Galaxy S7 series soon.
Anonymous , 24 Oct 2016Blame it on Brexit(British exit from europe). So problems with Note 7 phones in China are due to Britain voting to leave the EU!!?? It will be invading aliens landing from Mars next. Well I suppose they could use the defective units as hand grenades if all else fails!
