When I went to turn in my phone I was NOT offered a 50 discount on the Samsung Galaxy 7 or 7 edge, why is this?
SO I had a Note 7 and I did NOT want a Galaxy 7 or 7 edge, I liked and used my pen so I got a Note 5. WHY am I not eligible??? and WHY is this NOT for US Users too?
AnonD-491921, 24 Oct 2016550 $????? i think you meant $50 or $100It counts as a refund. It's like getting back your money and than buying an s7 edge with it at half price. According to the price of the S7 edge in your region you get the difference back.
Hi, I purchased Samsung Galaxy Note 7 and am using without any problem. I want to know
if i continue to use what will be the disadvantages in terms of upgrade software and other
upgrades is possible or there will not be any update ? If I want to returned my device what is
last date ?
samsung has to be announce officially in media.
note 8 they have to launched earlier reason most of the customer was converted in iphone 7 device.
i hope samsung already know this is happening so they have to understand the market situation and has to be launched next year in 1st quater.
I've seen reports on other websites and have a different cost understanding that makes this a good offer. The full retail cost of a S7/S7 edge is currently $700/$800. Samsung discounts 50% so $350/$400 to be paid off at upgrade date. Your monthly payments are taken off that balance. The number of months until you upgrade could be 5 with a S8 in March or possibly 10 with Note 8 in August. Nobody can foresee the exact release dates yet. Assume you pay on average $30/month. That would be $150-$300 off your $350/$400 balance. You keep the S7 and assume a new payment schedule with the upgrade date. It's better than the current $100 discount if you still plan on getting any of Samsung's new models next year. I like the option.
AnonD-26572, 24 Oct 2016At the risk of asking a stupid question does this article effectively confirm there will be a ... moreWell you and me both
Here is the problem I have, it's all this hope news and there is nothing as yet on the problem.
So with the Note series being a tweaked 'Edge' I believe the Note series is finished.
The Note 8 can't go forward without an explanation of why there was these fire, I expect one maybe two will be fraudulent
What I hope won't happen is that Samsung if confirmed the Note series is dead just doesn't provide an explanation for the fire, the only explanation is from independent consumer safety bodies
I have returned my Note 7 and still no refund... so disappointed
tii, 24 Oct 2016you know its google who send a tricky update to make some explosive note 7, because they want ... moreI was thinking about its possibility too...
In the past many Motorola phones were used to activate/turn into explosives...
But somehow, I feel its the waterproofing that's causing the major fault...
So, if I'm reading this correctly, and this program gets rolled out here in the US, it would be a 50% discount, plus the cost of any payments made up to that time on your carrier's program (appx $200). You'd still be paying more than 75% for the device. And... you can bet your carrier isn't going to just roll over and handle it for nothing.

At the risk of asking a stupid question does this article effectively confirm there will be a Note 8 phone? There were rumours going around saying Samsung were going to kill off the Note brand completely a couple of weeks ago. Now what confuses me more is there is already a Note 8 tablet, so I don't see them releasing a phone with the same name. I can believe the S8 but not a Note 8. So is the name just wrong or is it an assumption that will possibly not come to pass?
AnonD-119751, 24 Oct 2016Im sorry Samsung, no more Samsung . I am going for Google Pxl . Your customer service gave me ... moreIt is so true, I have been loyal customer of note series, but while I asked for refund in Sahara center sharjah they offered me to by bank transaction in 10 working no day, above all the showroom manager was talking as if he is paying from his pocket, it was really frustrating and hard time to get it refunded. If samsung really care about their customers they must take action against these kids nd of people who is spoiling the brand name.
