Anonymous, 26 Oct 2016Moto under google: moto e 2014, 2015, moto g 2013, 2014, 2015, 2015 turbo, moto x 2013, 2014, ... morekhmm...
excuse me sir.
just couple phones what is already under lenovo not under google as you mentioned.
Moto G3, Moto G3 Turbo Edition, Moto X Style AKA Pure Edition, Moto X Play AKA DROID Maxx 2, Moto X Force AKA DROID Turbo 2.
Moto under google: moto e 2014, 2015, moto g 2013, 2014, 2015, 2015 turbo, moto x 2013, 2014, play, style, force, maxx. average 4 handsets per year.
Moto under lenovo: moto E, moto E power, moto g4 play, moto g4, moto g4 plus, moto z play, moto z, moto z force, moto m, moto ? (x style copycat). 9 handsets in 2016 alone, may reach 10.
Expect moto R plus grand duos SE by 2018.
So basically Motorola has now become a full fledged average Chinese phone company much like it's parent company Lenovo, and also on the same level of Meizu, Elephone, Bluboo and Vernee. Just another average face in the crowd of cheap low budget handsets. I wonder what that price tag would be like?? Hopefully It should never cross $200 USD at least, to somewhat justify it. Now Xiaomi, Huawei & Oneplus are now the only way to go if you are looking for high end quality Chinese Android smartphones now at great prices with competitive specs.
AnonD-62471, 26 Oct 2016Mediated processor for MOTO ???? I think this is not Moto this is just Lenovo.... They screwin... moreOhhh Lord seriously? So just because the phone carries the letter "M" you assume it won't ever be upgraded? What a poor assumption. Please get a full time job. Thank you.
This is exactly like Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 with with considerably worse battery. Great.....
Mediated processor for MOTO ???? I think this is not Moto this is just Lenovo.... They screwing up Moto brand and quality
First moto to come with Marshmallow and remain Marshmallow hence 'Moto M' naming. It will never get upgraded to Nougat.
AnonD-347926, 25 Oct 2016What about the 4.7" model ? Do you know if there'll be a "mini" version of the Moto m ? Yaa , but it won't get finger print scanner.
This phone is going to be for China only. It's made for that audience.
*sigh. Gone are the uniqueness of Moto, and it is becoming just like any other Chinese phones.
AnonD-476446, 25 Oct 2016The Motorola Atrix 4G had a rear finger print sensori still have it ,,,when i read this i was like wtf my phone has rear fingerprint sensor lol
Nice design, I like this better than Moto Z and the like.
Shame about the SoC choice and I also wish they'd make more 5-5.2" phones, not just low end ones.
AnonD-347926, 25 Oct 2016What about the 4.7" model ? Do you know if there'll be a "mini" version of the Moto m ? As far I remeber the M series will have a 5.5" and a plus model with 6".
I think is was in a rumor so don't pick for the truth
