It's inexcusable the way MS has screwed it up. Insecure, slow, buggy, a real train wreck. They need to fire whoever is working on it because it's an embarrassment.
I need ability to send and recieve sms to and from Skype, to and from "normal" phones!
Lol, these 2 things are dead already - Windows phones and Skype.
Who still uses skype? I thought this was useful in 2010
we all use skype for our work in the IM format. It hasn't been a good tool for a very long time. it constantly freezes up when you send a message and it doesn't erase history unless you close and open at least twice. I know its not my computer because many of us complain about the same thing all around the office. It truly needs a make over
Call quality keeps being as poor as it used to before 4G or fiber-optic internet access. Call rates depending on the country are a bit over the average price. I definitely prefer calling landlines using Line anytime, which is what I currently do. And Whatsapp calls intead of SKype-to-Skype calls. I uninstalled Skype months ago and I havent missed it at all.
Why bother even updating or making any apps for Windows Store?? Just dump your beautiful OS for the good of everyone.
Improvement for voice quality is more important than cosmetic enhancement.
Most calls made, both cell & landline, to my callees complaint that the first few seconds of the call is distorted.
