That is the most "corporate bs-bingo" statement I've seen in a long time. It's nothing more that stating the obvious. Let's break it down:
- We've made stuff for 47 years (a history lesson, I guess)
- We think we've met challenges and are innovative (guess he had to add some fluff)
- Increasing shareholder value (rather obvious - I mean really, like he needs to make that statement. As if he's going to say "we're going to do what is NOT INTUITIVELY OBVIOUS - decrease shareholder value")
- Learning from and adapting to this challenging business environment (gosh, you think?)
hmmm... removeable battery +extra battery kit.... simple as that....
So they admit that now that they were not producing good quality products since long time.

galaxyS7, 27 Oct 2016You have any idea what you are saying bro?. you are right about SD card but rest is just crap.... moresomething is wrong with these people..they are fixated on the removable battery....i have never changed the battery on a newer generation device with sealed battery but i have had to replace batteries on phones with removable batteries...if i remeber correctly people were shouting at nokia for having a remvable battery on the n95(sorry for old refernce), because of its flimsy hinge...there are also the added problem of users swapping the removalbe battery for a cheap chinese one..i have seen it being done..i have done it myself...so IMO sealed batteries are good
Samsung is junk I'm tired of of this crap I've been a loyal samsung fan for years, defending their devices and today I couldn't even simply register for samsung protection plus because their Website would not accept my zipcode. Ready to make a 129.00 dollar payment for more protection and the website kept giving me errors, just like the constant (forced closes) everyday just like the studduring my phone experiences over and over s7 edge by the way I'm done bye samsung I'm buying motorola and now I understand why the US military is dumping you in favor of apple junk!
Until the next defect, whatever that is, which in the chase of an ever increasing profit margin won't be long before it happens.
I haven't heard that they actually found the issue why note 7 is catching fire!! Without finding it, how can they reassure us in anyway??
Don't get me wrong. Perhaps starting S8 or Note8, Samsung smartphones quality will much improved due to their experience with Note7 fiasco. Now they will increase their quality control to maintain their company reputation in the eyes of the world. If they just give up, they will not survive as a company with the same name for over half an decade, they are not Nokia or Ericsson.
What doesn't kill you makes you stronger.
Samsung had faced problems with Apple's iPhone7 while Samsung releasing Note7...
RMDC, 27 Oct 2016Samsung has lost me forever. After 2 note 7s being recalled, the countless hours and trips to ... moreman you have a big problem... you buy all those devices from samsung and since you dropped youre phone you want them to do what? to repair it for free, under guarantee? really? show me who will do that for you from other companies? will apple do it? guess what, no! they have water resistant iphone now, but they wont replace it if you submerge it underwater. nor will any other do, but, guess what? i have my S7, it was all summer with me, even in sea when swimming and so, but, its USB port startet to malfunction, i guess from sea water. took it to service, and they changed its motherboard, seals, charger and ofcourse under guarantee! how come they did not ask me anything? because they are taking good care of their costumers! and i have another example, samsung gear s that i have for 18mths, i broke accidently battery charger, sim tray was not working properly, and after so many time in use, they did not even ask me anything, i got new watch, imagine that? i love samsung, i cant wait for note8 and i feel sorry for everyone thinking they dont care about costumers, because, they managed to pull back every single phone on their charge for everyones safety, will apple do that even that their batteries have exploded in greater percentage than those in Note 7. No they will not do that nor will replace that few phones to costumers!
Waawaaawaaawaa, I'm not going to get this.. I'm not that. Enough . Samsung phone are still superior to anything out now . so would I take a phone that might explode over a dumb iPhone or middle of the road LG , hell yea. Sammy will make it right. and be right back on top no worries here.
