Anonymous, 31 Oct 2016No "I dont want to buy Mi Mix" option?Of course. The want positive results only. See the headline!!:)
Sony already tried this BS design.
How could ppl use this phone on landscape mode, and the thumb not covering the display? LOL
Not to mention the front camera placement.
Xiaomi wont be able to meet 5% of total international demand. It is so popular in the world now. Most sought after in India in particular.

It's was developed as an experiment so they didn't make many.... moreA concept phone remains as a concept phone until it is launched and put on sale. Did you see those phones are selling like hot cakes in china. So being an experimental model is out of question here. At this time, I wouldn't mind even if the phone lacks in term of specs. This is an exemplary design and it is one of its kind. All the competitors are gonna go with rolling eyes. This should be launched globally. That is the only way to bring down the pride and gimmicks of the giants like samsung and apple.

Chinese government... moreCorporative spy is the issue, global espionage is like an oppulent case of too much hardware and lack of necessity to use in a standardized and private way (just not on the scale most people make of it, which is dumb), but profits are too many, too much. Also, you really think they can monitor all people there is in this world haha? Gl with that, theyr gonna have to start by making a 150Km in length by 80Km in diameter filled with advanced monitoring robots, which could cost hundreds of billions of $ to make. Also theyr gonna hear you mumble about how you cant get this, get that. Yeah right.

The CPU itelf is monitoring and sending info , and the Qualcomm snapdragon is made in USA
Crapple1, 31 Oct 2016Iphone 6, 7 Size 4.7 inches (~65.6% screen-to-body ratio) Resolution 750 x 1334 pixels (... moreAs much as i hate Apple and I-sheep, i igree with them on this. Full HD is perfect for up to 5.5, no need for less battery life. Pixel density is already enough, but battery life usually isn't, especially when battery starts deteriorating and you can't replace it.
Iphone 6, 7
Size 4.7 inches (~65.6% screen-to-body ratio)
Resolution 750 x 1334 pixels (~326 ppi pixel density)
So this phone has bigger pixel density than Iphone`s "retina" HD gimmick wich most fanboys always said is enough.
Not biting unless it has 7.1 out of the box.
My next Android phone must have 7.1 out of the box due to the new dual partition system Android 7.1 used for seamless updates. Anything released without 7.1 probably will never see an update anymore.
Anonymous, 31 Oct 2016Well they'won't, if fact their latest phone doesn't even have a removable battery.
As for s... moreChinese government bans a lot of things, if you attempt to rebel their communist party in those devices, they might arrest you more easily. if you were the Chinese, you don't have any choice that you were immediately arrested if you hate communist by spreading it.
and on the memory, those phones without external memory are not for recorders at all - the endurance of the memory decreases as more cycles used, and they would have to be in struggle of moving their stuff to other storage.
other than that, this phone is impossibly great, the top notch of price to performance ratio.

As for spying...well you fear chinese government, but not american government+google/Apple? Makes 0 sense. Chinese government is your least problem. But yea, lack of dedicated sd slot is unacceptable (Not until 128GB internal memory becomes the norm), so is unremovable battery (Unless the phone costs up to $300 - $350 tops).

The so called 'tech enthusiast' don't need service centre, they need devices with plenty of thrid party dev support and mostly cheap phones with sd is more likely to get it rather than an exynos flagship.
Quality is same as any other brand as they are build under same conditions in same country.
I would rather have the chinese spy on me than the US or Korean govt who actually have resources to use all the info.
And fortune cookie has nothing to do with China.
Assuming the display is 6.4, it just SHOULD have QHD resolution.
then it will be a GREAT upgrade for the Note 4 with 5.7 and QHD resolution.
would also like it to have AMOLED display, but maybe that's too much to ask for.
i am fearing that this kind of phone is being secretly monitored by Chinese government, i would rather LG to make the phone like this on G6 and with removable bettery then a microSD support.
