If I'd have bought LG G5 and some of its mods hoping that the mods will be compatible with next generation, and then I'd hear that there are no plans for modular phone in the future I'd be pissed off too. Let's see how Motorola handles the same situation with their Moto Z.

AnonD-604734, 31 Oct 2016And rear volume, power buttonsNo. No. No and again NO! While it's a great spot for a fingerprint scanner, volume buttons should remain at the side. It's really clumsy to use them on the back.
G5 was my first and only LG device but after the way LG ditched it no way i pay or care about another LG product the problem with LG is that they don't care about their own hard work, unlike Sony, Samsung or even Apple, they don't have the power to make a change so they just give up on things when it doesn't go the way they wanted it, the hate towards G5 and the believe that the modular design is gimmick could have been fixed if they came up with more useful modules, instead LG completely gave up on the idea, never trust a company that gives up on themselves.
