Look like troller are being big head at this section,it sell less but make a profit ,better than samsung that lose 95% of profit, sony make the best quality phone in all aspect out there thats why they quite expensive, but you get what you pay, smooth performance even after a years, battery that not degraded dor long time, and smooth ui experience
just look a mercedes, bmw, bentley why they car so expensive ,than you know why.. ;)

Anonymous, 02 Nov 2016Sony seem to distance themselves from the mad and furious specs wars going all around, giving ... moreYou mean an Apple-like aura? "It may not be the best at anything, but...it's Sony". LOL. I would understand if they at least improved their batteries in exchange for indeed meaningless processing power or ppi. But no, they offer hugh prices in exchange for nothing (Well except for "exclusive" status).
Sony won't sell its mobile division. Never. Every company will have lose or income. It don't mean end of company. Sony sales will rise. Remember that. Love my Z3 that still smooth.
Well let's see...Smaller (mostly) screens, downgraded and still non-removable batteries (Both in terms of capacity and optimizations), not the best cameras, not the best sound, not the most durable/reliable (Which may even be understatement). Why would anyone buy a Sony smartphone?
Anonymous, 02 Nov 2016Sony seem to distance themselves from the mad and furious specs wars going all around, giving ... moresony is designed by japan, for japanese. i know most japanese love its simple design.
als, 02 Nov 2016It stays exclusive that way. The best phone is like a Ferrari... You shouldn't see it with everyone no. ferrari naver use cheap materials. it's very very premium.
now look at xz. cheap plastic frame, cheap 1080p lcd, cheap emmc storage, average camera (with automatic mode), ugly design.
Sony is unique, funny seeing all the Samsung Fanboys coming and dissing here when their beloved brand lost 95% profit this year. As for the people telling Sony to stop making phones..please do you think a company is going to even consider your request. Get a life..maybe see why your Samsung phones are still exploding. Yes the S7s

Sony seem to distance themselves from the mad and furious specs wars going all around, giving their phones an aura of exclusivity instead. Well built, well sorted out, beautiful but conservative phones for people who don't resort to a phone to build their own image and who don't want to fool around with ROMs and stuff. Interesting strategy, for now it seems to be working but let's what the future holds for the Japanese.
Very stagnant mobile design sector plus horrible marketing plus wrong executive decisions in different markets with high prices compared to others will continue to push down the figures further more until it's just the camera division, Sony was great now it's not
They are selling less phones, but they are getting now profit, so that isn't that bad at all. I hope Sony recovers some market and continue doing great phones as in the Sony-Ericsson era.
You deserve the worst sony ... they should learn how to update devices and support the customer before offering new phones ... they think they are superiors somehow ..
RIP Sony mobiles (soon)...
(Camera sensors are great tho .. but only when used in samsung devices, because samsung know how to build camera apps-software that will use sony camera sensors well)
What did they expect? These days, where you have huge amount of phones to choose from each year, people go for something, that will make it stand out (I'm not including hardcore fans here, that don't see anything else apart from their brand). On the Sony side everything remains kinda the same now...for what? Like 3-4 years? The competition is tight, people want more and more, Sony stayed a bit behind, perhaps they are focusing more on their PS4 Pro and VR, kinda neglecting mobile department.
When u sell Snapdragon 650 device for 40,000 INR u r done..
Sony Xperia X Snapdragon 650-40,000 Rs
Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Snapdragon 650-12,000 Rs
That's it..Nothing more to say about Sony..Bye bye Sony may u RiP..
