swirly, 03 Nov 2016It is also a pain in the neck to use. That notification shade is literally a disease..I have emui and this is the only problem.
Emui is good. Not excellent but not Bad too
So... there's no pro?
I have Mate 7, but for this price I'd rather go for S7 Edge, as overtime I realised I don't need 6", I'll be just fine with 5.5".
Qxdir, 03 Nov 2016EMUI is the one of the fastest skins available after stock android... Don't bash it.It is also a pain in the neck to use. That notification shade is literally a disease..
swirly, 03 Nov 2016EMUI for €699? No thanks...EMUI is the one of the fastest skins available after stock android... Don't bash it.
This is my next phone. I currently own an s7 exynos version, had it for about 6 months, for the people who say samsung dont lag anymore, it stutters like hell it really started to show in the 4-6 month period, i mean it stutters a lot.
Mate 9 is what i want in a phone.
Having a 5.9" screen in pretty much the same dimensions as a iphone 7 plus is great. 5.1" on the s7 feels really small.
Stereo speakers, thats gonna be awesome considering im used to the speaker on the s7 wich is absolutely horrible.
4000mah battery is great, im a heavy user and my s7 barely gets me through the day, so 4000mah will probably make the cut.
1080p display dont bother me a thing since i dont use vr so having qhd really just slows the phone down and consumes battery. I would indeed like it to be a amoled screen though.
And finally EMUI got an app drawer so i dont need to install nova launcher even though i did on my s7.
Rayne , 03 Nov 2016Leica lens are overatted. Just look at how good the Sony sensor on the Google pixel. Fantastic Just look of how much lens flare does the Pixel have over other phones. That's the lens fault. Leica branding is a guarantee that you will not encounter such lens-related issues.
E.slc, 03 Nov 2016Is this something that would work with ATT in the US? Thank youYes
Gerald Damian, 03 Nov 2016Oh God... where is the pro version already leaks? ?? ? The pro version is the porsche edition

Anonymous, 03 Nov 2016I was looking forward to this device, misled by the rumours.
So no 1440 x 2560 pixels
No ... moreNo 6GB RAM. No 256GB flash. No QHD screen (for VR).
Unless you buy the over-priced Porsche styled version.
A disappointment personally. Will wait for the next flagship.
