Trust me I am a heavy... moreYet it has a Kirin cpu and 3000 mah (Y6II) - i just can't count on the battery lasting a day and have to carry a huge power bank. Sure the battery still lasts a bit more than my previous 5.5 MTK phone with the same battery capacity, but in thge end it doesn't matter when i have to carry the power bank anyway. On a 5.9 phone with much more powerful CPU and GPU, a 4000mah battery will probably last even less.

Trust me I am a heavy user. The Mate series do have amazing batteries to say the least. Am positive this will be no different
this not good, that's not good.
yeah Porche design is good, but to pricey.
AMOLED instead IPS = +price.
2K instead of 1080P = +power consumption.
non-removable battery = why would you need it removable, will buy another phone after 1-2 years.
Excited for antutu score ..., Single and multicore geekbench as well

AnonD-359671, 03 Nov 2016Honestly am disappointed. The Porsche design model is the real deal but it will be too costly.... moreYea and the curved screen is not just a gimmick, but actually an inconvenience. Just another trending madness that makes 0 sense.

Still lasts several times longer than most other companies flagship devices and I've had this phone for say 2 or is it 3years?

When it has flagship price tag, it has to reflect in the specs. Cut the price by another 200 dollars/euros, the current specs are acceptable.

The fact is, if not big enough, batteries are only "superb" if you watch how you use it. The won't last a day under constant usage and they should. If they don't, then they are simply not good enough. Especially if you keep in mind deterioration over time, combined with being non-removable.
Anonymous, 03 Nov 2016What's wrong with that ? Huawei Mate 8 has such combo and it is great !The point is, this is supposed to be a successor to the Mate 8 not a mate 8 clone with new processor. They should have upped the Ram and screen resolution from 4-6gb and 1080P to 2k respectively to say the least
mr. ry, 03 Nov 2016I will wait for the reviews before I decide to buy this phone, I hope the battery life is great.Battery life of Huawei phones are superb. If you are after battery life, go ahead you won't be disappointed.

The Porsche design model is the real deal but it will be too costly. IDC about the Porsche gimmicks or the curved screen. I only wanted 6gb Ram on the normal flat screen variant with 2k display. Huawei failed woefully this time around
Battery not impressive for that screen size. And still non-removable. And still no dedicated memory slot - ~55GB actual memory is not enough for apps+music/movies+content downloading+camera photo/video recordings.
