everything including universe also looks like iphone according to some.
Himas, 17 Dec 2010Form factor looks Gud, it looks like iPhone 4 with lil big screen.I agree with you. It does look like the iphone4. Imitation is the highest form of flattery. Just proves that the iphone is indeed the number one :)
before i saw this m0del , i hate all LG m0dels(especially phones & mobiles) but when i saw this i w0ndered really !
LG Brand can be better in near future...
Wait and Watch...

Even with 1080p recording, will the LG Optimus record video like this? Don't think so due to the lack of auto focus in video recording :

(heart) the specs, sounds like a real powerhouse device! Would be cool to see Full HD video/output as well. Hope it has a mSD slot, 'cos that 8GB will fill up quick-smart at that resolution. Hopefully with that SOC they'll be able to use proper pixel-dumping digital zoom (like the N8) to maintain quality and detail.
i hop that SE gonna change the spec for the X12 for dual core
Not hard for android to be successful when it's on every network and phone brand.
Congratulations to LG Optimus 2X (Star) and to LG Optimus Mach LU3000,
Now you in same line with others power phones! Good job LG!
Also to become more popular phone brand like a Nokia, don't forget about handset build quality, why so many peoples prefer or like Nokia phones, even they got old fashioned symbian OS.
Qualcomm Snapdragon, Apple A4 aka. Samsung Hummingbird & Nvidia Tegra are all ARM-based SoCs
Always first to the world but when come to launching the phone they are very slow. pls launch asap before Samsung came out
A few people seem to be asking about the different button layouts. The one with 4 illuminated buttons is the type Europe will get and the other type (that looks like the galaxy s button layout) is for LG’s home market (Korea).
Anonymous, 16 Dec 2010what's so awesome about this phone?the japanese phone is waaaaay up ahead and has been doing f... moreYes, the Japanese handsets can do HD but are they running on Tegra 2? The sheer power of this phone is currently off the charts and if LG can push this out of the door soon then they will hold the Android crown until the other manufacturers comes up with their flagships.
If you look closer at the pictures it is not the same phone! One has got a scroll like button and the other one has got 4 touch buttons.. Which one is the correct one??
[deleted post]Whatever Nokia is going to do they better do it fast. A Meego handset was originally slated to be released this 4th quarter as their flagship but that plan was scrapped and no reason was given. They better release it soon to avoid the dual-core rush of Android which I expect to set the trend for future flagships. If the single-core, MeeGo running N9 is priced near or more than the dual core flagships of Android then Nokia may have a tough time selling them.
I know Nokia will field in some dual core handsets but that is said to be scheduled late 2011.

Will this be another Viewty - great camera but rubbish phone?
WOW , LG can proud with this phone . super design + first world´s dual core PROCESSOR in mobile phone and first world´s recorder at 1080 p FULL HD .
other phone makers can learn something from LG .
Life is Good *_-
well dual is the way forward one day phones will be like 1.6 dual core. and guess what that time is nearly here.since the tegra2 chipset is fast and low consumption. Nvidia are well clued up.
lets hope the iphone 5 will adopt common sense and have a nice screen dual core processor. everything else is perfect.
Anonymous, 16 Dec 2010what exactly does it mean by dual-core 1ghz processor? is it 500mhz for each core or double 1ghz?No the clock speed will remain 1 ghz, but there will be noticeable difference since each core can handle different task simultaneously.
