Because that has NEVER happened to me once since I got the phone in October. Anecdotal evidence only gets you so far, I can count as many disgusted Samsung owners with the Galaxy S and TouchWiz as much as anyone could do the Symbian UI. Doesn't prove anything however since other Galaxy S owners aren't having the same issues.
I would choose an Android phone over Symbian (Nokia) anyday. I am an owner of a phone sale company and the amount of Symbian software phones that we receive back with issues is nearly beyond a joke. They are becoming not even worth selling. We sold 34 Nokia N8's on launch day and 23 of them came back with power up issues/software issues within the first month. All had to be replaced. Android phones seem to have near to none problems at all, and im looking forward to selling this Optimus series handset.

UP... moreHonestly mate, The N8 could be a great phone, Except that this handset is plagued with faults, Nokia has replaced 193 through my store alone, That has to say something about the hardware/software combination they are using. Although it does say something about Nokia as a whole, Considering they have replaced every one at their cost... Bad Product, Good Service.
This comes under the heading of grossly over priced.

UPnP is essentially DLNA, I can connect with networks and my internet TV wirelessly. I have USB-OTG I plug in my flash drive and transfer without computer. I even have an app that works like Wi-fi Direct and NO phone even supports the technology, not even the N8 itself. outdated? LOL.

Those number came out before Symbian^3 so they don't include C6, C7, N8. At the time there weren't any Symbian^3 (high end) offerings from Nokia! I believe that considering the fact that S^3 is lot better than S60touch it might slow down the decrease of Symbian's market share.

LG Optimus 2X have both HDMI and DLNA, not even N8 can do that, and soon, probably early 2011, some Android will have "USB-on-the GO" and a better camera than N8, so do not wast your money on the outdated Symbian N8!
Some guy from Greece, 20 Dec 2010The dead Symbian dead platform has 50% larger market share than Adroid.. :)But Symbian is definetly dead in the segment for the best top smartphones, N8 is not in this top segment but in the segment below. N8 is a good camera for taking pictures, but that alone does not make it a top smartphone. N8 have the specs for doing almost anything, but it does all these things so extremly bad that only the camera belong in the top segment.
Symbian is for the cheap massmarket, mostly in Afrika and Asia.

Android is still on the rise.

[deleted post]lol seriously. do you really think you will get all that stuff with iphone 5? ill tell what will you get. you will get a new version of software, fixed antenna issues and white color. AND THAT'S IT
[deleted post]I'm not sure about that rumor but it makes sense. Nokia's current CEO, Stephen Elop, was Microsoft's President of Business Division.
