not sure whether bada will able to cross android or i-os but 1 thing is clear that bada had beaten symbian and earlier windows os 6.5 on all fronts leaving them 2 stand now where near it .................nokia's downfall started in 2010 due to dis symbian only n same is the story for windows............................
.......
bada proved that a cheap smart os can have great quality n usability...........great going bada

anonym, 20 Dec 2010technically its easy to say a lot of things and show a lot of hypes unless of course they real... morethe 1.2 update for samsung wave is coming next January ,before that there will be another update to kies....this is according to samsung.
for me I am using windows vista and kies works like a charm with no issues.
I don't like samsung supports services but at least this time samsung is trying to do a good support.

technically its easy to say a lot of things and show a lot of hypes unless of course they really implement it and samsung is all about show offs in the recent months. the pc suit of theirs called 'kies' is a mess, wave doesnt have an upgrade to bada 1.2 yet, doesnt seem like samsung will ever release a world wide upgrade to bada 1.2 for samsung wave even though the set is the same all over the world apart from their manufacturing places. And now their talking big on releasing 2.0
blah..good luck samsung and good luck to those trusting on them.

ps. wave is really an awesome phone created by samsung i admit but that is the only thing i admit about samsung. no point in having a great 'smartphone' if it cant do much.

As good as Bada might be... and I really like the OS, it's only as good as the Apps that are available and there are huuuge gaps at the moment.
Think about:
- Skype
- Whatsapp

Just to name a few.

I think my next mobile purchase will be Samsung with Bada 2.0. I know Android is better (and open source too) but I'm kind of wary about Google as they are pushing (more like forcing) people towards cloud computing (Chrome OS anyone). Now that I thought about that, maybe that's the reason why Google Nexus S do not have any microSD slot like Samsung Galaxy S. Google want people to store all their data on their server.

Yes, I know that Samsung has the worst support ever. Very slow to update their firmware and software but my experience with their phone build was and still is (I still own Samsung Jet) great. Just hoping that next year Samsung Mobile will listen to their users and customers and pursue their customers best interest well.

seven... is it too late? :\
Anyway, I have been wanted to ask. What's so special about Bada? What does Bada have that Android or iOS doesn't have? (or symbian, sigh...)
