froyo isnt everything... so motorola is right in not getting too excited with it...got it on my htc...
gingerbread is where the goodness lies... flash is a waste of time anyway.... laggy as hell on even the fastest phone... samsung galaxy... so we're not really missing much.

I am a very happy owner of a Milestone. While it bothers me that Motorola seems to be lazy with their OS updates, I found the solution that some others have mentioned in these past posts. The Andoid community ported froyo to the Milestone some time ago, and there is a lot of great material out there that shows you how to root and install custom ROMs, without fear of serioulsy messing up your phone. Using these, I have been enjoying froyo on mi phone for some months now. I started out with Cyanogen, swtiched to Cronos (two different updates here), then moved on to GOT and am now using the locally-cooked FroyoVE, which performs excellently. Will I update to official Moto Froyo when it finally comes out? Probably not. I'm pretty sure Cyanogen or AndroidVE will have some form of gingerbread baked by then.

Droid Terminator, 23 Dec 2010hater will keep talking against moto but for those who knows what s good in Moto device, will ... moreDidnt they say the same thing for the Cliq went it came out and it took them a YEAR just to release OS upgrade with has bugs and lags so basically they have to do an update to fix an update that should be done months ago.
Im sure people are going to love Motorola for that. A company that cant meet it deadlines unless its an Verizon phone. I figure you out of all people will know people wont support a product that cant get updates done on time.

hater will keep talking against moto but for those who knows what s good in Moto device, will buy and will support Moto for sure. yes milestone was suppose to get froyo some months ago and i m not also happy about that. but here what makes me understand them and keep supporting them is the build quality and the price of moto device are one of the best. beside htc, samsung now lg are good but nothing can beat the moto droid line. moto make me happy on their coming back so i will accept also some mistakes from the company. say what sweet you to say we love Moto.
