most of you trolls don't even know what are the REAL advantages of android over symbian and symbian over android.
you are actually judging the book by it's covers. they are both good operating systems, and i will def not die for defending any of them, that's just plain stupid.
live with it, power users will take the one that suits their needs, but regular users will just go for the one that is more popular, and now that is android. call it aggressive marketing or whatever but they are both good.
i use symbian, i'm used to it, i will maybe buy the next generation of maemo phone because the interface will probably stay familiar, or i'll maybe go for android, who knows? but i will def not go for symbian again JUST BECAUSE i'm in the "symbian team" in this internet troll fight. grow up!

maemo is far more capable than android. Android has way more software restrictions compared to maemo since maemo i sdirectly linnux based where as android is not. People say android is linus based, but only the extreme platform is from linux, it doesn't have capability to run linux apps and modified like maemo does.
This is exactly why bmw signed with meego and not android. android is a mobile OS, where as Maemo is a tablet os. huge difference.
