samer1970, 18 Nov 2016Total rubbish. If it says made n Japan then it is made in JapanYea made in Japan, where someone designed it and then sent it to China to be actually made

The problem is not that jobs have gone to China or Mexico, the real problem is that USA have far too many uneducated because it is too expensive to study at university! If the jobs did not go to China or Mexico... then far less chinese, mexicans..., would be able to buy any products, iPhones..., at all because they then would not have any jobs, and Apple... would then have billions less to sell their products to, so free trade... is a win win for everyone!
USA is a country of immigrants, and whites are not more real americans than blacks or latinos or..., because not even white "europeans" are native americans!
Uneducated are the easiest to seduce with racist lies and unrealistic/impossible simple solutions!

The argument about limiting population: who will be using these products made by robots ?
Automation of production started more that 100 years ago and now population is much bigger than that at that time. The same is with jobs. We of course lost some jobs that existed then, but I guess you wouldn't accept offer for such jobs...

The solution is to decrease and limit the human population.

Moreover, those corporations give minimal wage in those countries for the same job. They're greedy and arrogant.

Changed production may create another jobs that didn't existed before. Production will increase, decreasing production costs so goods becomes more affordable. If maybe a particular task was being performed like maybe say 30people, and they introduce a machine/robot to do the same task how many will loose their jobs at that scenario?? They will probably need to only one person to operate that machine. I was just trying to give a perspective of how jobs are lost due to introduction of intelligent robots!

I still stand behind by point, i thought you would have given me examples of ”industries" but it is a fact that China's growth is better than america right now they are making a lot of innovation their lower labor costs really does make for.more.room for production
The other day they made the largest radio telescope, the first graphene battery alright this is where I stop I think I've somewhat matched the anemic speed limit you set for this "discussion"

Whether people like it or not, and pretend to dislike everything about China, china will always rule the market and even Apple knows they can't do that well without china. So guys just ask youselves a simple question, why does big companies have there production in china? And will have your answer why China is the driver of most Economies'
The cost increase won't be more than 20$. Posible even only 10$. That may affect products retailing for 200 or less, but won't affect iphone. Its like loosing 5% of profit, or maybe 2-3% increase of price

If Trump start a trade war with 35 percent taxes on everything imported to USA, the rest of the world will then ofcourse answer with the same 35 percent on everything exported from USA! China could also ban US companies from access to the gigantic Chinese market!
The only chance to move production back to USA is if the work can be done by computers and robots, so this will not create any new jobs at all for workers in USA anyway!

Do you know how much Apple profit ? This only affect just a little, it wont double the price, just cutting down the profit apple already has. Apple will get profit anyway eventhough the manufacturer moved to USA. It will make more jobs like trump and any of USA citizens want. It wont make Tim gets 7 ferraries, but It will make him gets 4 ferraries. As simple as that
I am not from USA, but your comment all really dumb and narrow minded, and always worship Apple !
