Anonymous, 18 Nov 2016Atleast it DIDNT BlOW UP and it is last year product and not new release phones.the issue was known for a long time but they never acknowledge from the beggining, it would've been massively better if they acknowledge from start (when guarantee might've applied) and exchanged it more easily with no charge... either way the info is delivered and whoever wants to repair they can ^_^
AnonD-122886, 18 Nov 2016According to you, which brand you think, provides a great after sales service?there are lot of great phones out there, specially from Samsung (S7, S7 edge, Note5), Huawei (Honor 8, P9), Sony X series, LG G5, HTC 10 these are all top ends and can easily compete with iPhone 7 plus and all are below price too and these companies do provide fair enough customer service. You can check how well Samsung handled the whole Note7 issue, imagine something similar happened with iDevice, believe me you the customer will be at receiving end with your hard earned money..
Anonymous, 18 Nov 2016It could be worse. At least it doesn't have S-plosion Syndrome.oh, then how is it better than S-plosion when something can still cause non-physical harm?
In conclusion,we can admit that Iphone 6/6 Plus are the worst phones ever.I prefer and day a note 7 in my right hand with a fire extinguisher in my left hand.
Samsung logic: There is a problem with our phones, so we will recall it worldwide and offer you a new free and similar-priced phone with freebies and money.
Apple logic: There is a very small problem with our phones caused by people not buying expensive protection for our always more fragile phones and not buying lifetime AppleCare+ insurance, so we give you half-priced repairs.

just try out the great variety of android phones which cost almost half of 7 plus and you wont be disapointed and even if you incur some repairing charges in android its comparatively cheap to repair or even buy a new one.
great feature apple... introducing the acknowledgment of hardware issues after 2 years of purchasing your 500% mark up best iPhone you have ever made.

My 6 plus is already replaced by apple for 3 times. I was thinking why this is happening again and again with my iPhone, when I was contacting apple they were telling me, maybe when I put my phone in my jeans pocket, there might be certain amount of force was staying on my iPhone left hand corner of screen, this logic from their end was quite weird for me. But now I see, this is one universal problem. 10 days back even apple has replaced my display unit, thankfully my device is under warranty. As apple admitted this issue, maybe for me it's time to change the phone either to pixel or to 7 plus

Apple is very rigid in admitting it's fault and if ever does unlike Samsung they will make their customers to suffer and pay for the remedy
That's stupid - having customers pay over $150 to fix something that's Apple's fault. Wow.
It should be free.
I'm not surprised that they're charging people for it.

I just love the aPple attitude:
"NO NO, there is nothing wrong! But we will fix the non existing fault if you shell out another $150"
There business model IS pure "Emperors new clothes"
APPLE = the biggest scam ever.
Wait a minute. It states in the article that the problem only arises for phones who have bent frames and those that have been dropped several times. I'm pretty sure that most of the phones today are quite fragile and would indeed be damaged from a few drops. Its a bit wrong to put all the blame on apple.
