Hard luck for those who want to possess original wave GT S8500 now as samsung has stopped its production bcoz of the Non availability of super amoleds as they are heavily booked by apple.Instead they churned out wave 2 with super clear Lcd and enhanced its screen size to 3.7,precisely with the same specs as the origiinal one.But here, super clear lcd is no match to super amoled.Its an ultimate pleasure viewing super amoled screen.

I have used all smart and multimedia phones of NOKIA, Sony Ericsson and LG but Samsung Wave S8500 is a topnotch either its Design, Specifications, Operating System, Compatibility, Reliability and Performance. Wave has set a high standard/Mark for all other competitors and they must be sweating to reach that Mark.

The bigest problem with BADA is the KIES.I have a HTC Desire and I was looking for buying Wave but when I read all the problems wuth KIES I was very dissapointed...
But I hope for future users that the new upgrade will be excellent and it's a nice news from Samsung!

The fact that you can't save more texts has nothing to do with RAM regardless or not if the Wave has 256 or 512. I'm looking forward to an official 1.2 and I hope that Samsung continues to bring updates to original Wave owners.

gov, 28 Dec 2010Anyone of you got any complaints about the 1,300 messages capacity on S8500? It's just patheti... morebecause of the ram. wave have a low ram and in msg it cannot handle many msgs.. i havre the same problem on my wave.. and when i add some many widget it cannot handle unlike android phone that have better ram
