Given the hardware specs, the phone is clearly overpriced! I'll better wait for the N9, or turn to the dark side and get an android before paying big bucks for the keyboard on a phone inferior to the N8.

Maybe Apple is thinking of venturing into the low- mid end level.

I still remember how my friends ditch ipod back in 2007. They ran and buy ipod nano when it was released lol!! Apple iph4 is by far the most sophisticated ph ever. The moment nokia produces ph with similar built quality to iph (N8 & E7), the price goes up with lousy 680 MHz processor. It proves iph is not overpriced.

Nokia does very well in phone whose price capped at 50$ haha!! Everyone knows apple changes everything. Without ipad tablet was much ignored market. Without iph, touchphone never made to mainstream. Now even 80$ phones like lg cookie has touchscreen. I salute apple.

say what you want but iphone really changes everything and nokia may still be number 1 worldwide but samsung is fast catching up and nokia's profit margin is not that good compared to iphone. nokia is losing the lower segment to china made phone while in the higher end where profit is bigger, its iphone and android the preferred choice nowadays. if not for the steep price of iphone and samsung galaxy s, nokia would be long gone by now. they may be the first of everything but it was apple that did something about it and combined it with good marketing. nokia is in deep shit. ibtw, i own a n8 coz i cant afford samsung galaxy s or iphone 4.if i have the money i would prefer the latter than nokia.

The E7 will have the same fate like the N8. Dropping wifi, application hang, broken widgets. Only a few things I experienced with my N8 after less than a week of usage. Already thinking of a hard reset on the bloody thing!

i prefer best touchscreen over features what i dont need or the phone what is pain to use.
Iphone also have very good usability, that's why it sells so much. People just like to use it because it works so effortlessly, yes one big reason of that is the best touchscreen on market
same as WP7 it also don't have everything on paper but it works so good.

nokia need not to worry about their sales of nokia N8 and nokia e7 in USA because USA no longer the worlds top economy.it has been surpassed by the countries like USA,CHINA,BRAZIL(constitiute 2.6 billion people)where nokia is no.1 in mobile segment.nokia is still no.1 especially in asia,africa,south america,35 countries of europe out of 42.they have less significant figure in north america.so u can imagine the sales of nokia against apple.worldwide ratio of nokia/apple is 22:1.so we should not consider usa as sole market for sales figure of mobile company.during the launch of apple iphone4 it was being sold for $995 which is much higher than nokia e7 $670.still e7 is not officially launch.when it will launch price will come down to $550.symbian is still no.1.again nokia is developing S^4 AND MEEGO which will provide such a great user experience that people will forget crappy iphone4 software.According to critics MEEGO is the platform that will change the user experience to a much improved level ranging from mobile,pc to digital instruments to astronomy.
remark-we all know apple sell mobiles for only profit purpose.they have 0 after sales service.so apple fans grieve for not which is inevitable.

What's other companies doing when iPhone wasn't released,look at htc,o2,motorola,even nokia :
they made garbage touchscreen phones with tiny screen,ugly UI,and thick as brick,usability?forget it cause they don't care about user's opinion.
Then iPhone comes & everything changes,so many iClone,iPhone killer,iPhone wannabe,or whatever you called them..everyone just copy iPhone and they definitely got trash even until now.
I'm an iPhone 4 user,i won't care if i can't transfer via bluetooth,and those things you mentioned cause i have and using the best in overall daily hardcore usage
I don't care if anyone called me a fanboy or anything,i'm happy & proud with my iPhone 4 & i'm not the only one feeling this way look at sales figure and you see how many people feel what i feel.
What nokia can do?dig yourself a hole and lay down there for good,your time has gone,people who buy nokia or any androids are jealous cause they can't own or afford an iphone.

You can play those and more with free vlc player, it's very good like it is on computer. It's very easy to upload videos, just drag'n'drop no need to convert videos, very fast and easy.

It may not look the best or be the top gadget, but it will bounce unlike your Droid or Iphone which will mash into bits without some silly looking rubber protector or case. So for some people this is what matters more than silly applications, which for the most part are just silly wiglets or pointless games :D
