Still waiting for vodafone au to put online the update.
Is here another way to get the update????
Received my update today... can't see the difference but I'm sure it's there! Looking forward to the Android 2.3 upgrade though
if you go a week and half on your phone on single charge you must be turning it off at nights. also dont talk so much in phone , then it is possible. But if you say i never shut it off i talk average you are just..... not talking the truth
Someone can help me. The bell in the calls is very low barely felt. The 2 options you have the repeated several times and as usual I can do. Thanks in advance
Better off releasing the Arabic support instead of this, after all the battery drains so fast, all wireless option are set to off to save power consumption and it doesn't do much (What else the phone is just worth nothing)

@DHM
did you, for any reason, root your HTC DHD? i am asking because i can see no other cause aside from rooting your original HTC ROM and replacing it with a new MOD.
After getting the upgrade I now get the message 'process.com.android.mms has stopped unexpectedly, please try again.'
Searched for the fix on various forums but have yet to find a definitive answer. Could anyone pitch in with some straight forward instructions on how to repair please.
Cheers in advance all. Have a good one.
for update
install market access and select US operator.

It is therefore unlikely that battery life is going to be improved on the current HTC Desire HD

Curious With an HD, 30 Dec 2010Will there be an OTA in Thailand, and how can I tell whether my Desire HD has been updated or ... moreGo to Settings -> About phone -> Software version and check if it says 2.2.1 You can manualy check for update in Settings -> About phone -> System software update. Bear in mind that if you have operator branded phone, it might take longer for the update to be released and the update closes the rooting exploit (for now), so if you want root, you'll have to have ENG S-OFF and RADIO S-OFF before applying the update manually (not OTA).
Will there be an OTA in Thailand, and how can I tell whether my Desire HD has been updated or not???
thanx for anyone who replies :)
