Not a top selling phone in UAE.
I got a good source in Nokia in UAE stating that Nokia N8 in UAE was and is and will remain a flop and a fail.
Also got confirmation since the delay of Nokia E7, if Nokia remains like this they will slowly close down in UAE.

Bottom line here in the US theres not a lot of N8's and i like that!! I dont want to have the same cell that a 13 yrs old girl!! I want a real device, and i got the N8 and i love it!!!! my girlfriend got my Iphone4 i like it but i love the N8 and theres a difference in that!!!

I heard many people have issues with the power sudden shut down on this phone, does anyone have this issues?

Probably our next phones will be iPhone 5 or Galaxy S 2's or next gen HTC. BTW, I never met anyone who owns a Nokia N8.

the nokia n8 does looks stylish and desirable to me . .
But it seems from the reviews that the phone lacks in internet features and chokes during text inflow.
Nokia should concentrate on internet and other productive features instead camera and videos .

you iphone fanboys are analyzing the figures in a straight line method as statistic call it. Iphone sells 1.7 millions in 3 days but this drastically decrease bec. of the signal problem in it. More than 1 month on sale, iphone sold 3 million unit, this includes those iphone units with defect which is later on refunded. Nokia sales of N8 are a success because in 2 months time they sold 4 million that considering the facts that nokia has 3 symbian 3 handset already on the market. Wait for Nokia's Q4 report. You ifanboys are just making fool out of yourself. LOL...

Strange that. Gartner's conservative estimates put it at 12 million or so over its lifespan.

Compared with the sales of iPhone 4 (14 million), Galaxy S (10 million), 4 million is peanuts. And with the new smartphones appearing now(1080p recording, dual core procs, maybe 16 MPix cameras) who will want a N8(which is quite expensive too)?
I think Nokia will not sale more than 4.5 million N8's.
