Maybe their next flagship will feature fingerprint sensor with protected surface (sapphire etc.) because as for now we've had many reports of scratched sensors
Anonymous, 24 Nov 2016Didn't they use japanese batteries later on the note 7 and still remained hazardous Japanese mobile devices mostly use Li-Poly not Li-Ion battery cells as found on the Note 7, across Samsung mobilephone range and in common brand phones...
Chinese brand phones have also begun to switch to Li-Poly battery cells now...
As others mentioned something still doesn't know is that the wire the note 7 catches fire which doesn't build confident lol..yeah Samsung do need to work on a better fingerprint scanner I have for 4 saved on my phone and still occasionally can't recognise my finger
Anonymous, 24 Nov 2016Huawei doesn't make fingerprint sensors. They also outsource them.ohh, well buy them from whoever huawei buy them from
They should go to HUAWEI to help them make faster fingerprint scanners as they have the best on the market
I think this is the right move for them as their fingerprint sensor is kinda slow compared to others

Samsung should fix their batteries and internal design rather than fingerprint sensors.
They still don't know what the problem is, didn't they replaced the battery on the first recall?, and see, the problem still remains , so they should focus on find out what was the problem with the note 7 manufacturing process.
